brilliant song and he is so unique in being able to reproduce his album and make it even better live. So underrated and a humble, gentle artist making him the real deal.

Actually amazes me that this song is near the very end of the album, almost like some hidden track...one of the top three songs on the album i think personally...fantastic song...nice one Jack.

:) last time I met Jack I asked him about a song called "Song for a friend" it's never been on an album, I wasn't sure if it was a cover or if he wrote it, which it isn't and he did , he is truely a remarkable songwriter and to leave that song relatively unheard is such a shame , it's on KZbin if you search for it , very clever lyrics and a very simple song but one of my favourites......well worth a listen

I know the one you mean Mark(totally agree with you)..Google "IF I GET THE CHANCE 20150814222915 pro" on you tube, when you find a mo.....it's another one just like SONG FOR A FRIEND.....i guess sometimes songs just don't make the final cut. As in, you can only put so many on an album and only release so many albums. I'm starting a tiny little campaign with FAN-POWER to try and request that Jack puts these songs out for release. I guess it's a lot about budgets, advertising, etc(profit has to be made...people have to eat)...but i know one thing. After two days of a message to "Jack-fans" going out in the comment section of IF I GET A CHANCE with "please put a YES if you agree and would like to see IF I GET THE CHANCE out on release", one Jack-fan put an instant YES on it.....let's hope word gets around..it begins. Like i've always said from day 1 of seeing Jack Savoretti....HE IS WORTHY of folk buying his music!!!(and budgets of more income allow for songs like those we have discussed to be released)...the Music Business is like every other...make a a song(product), market it...and sell it...and grow...allowing more product to be purchased. How are you going to do that when folk STEAL music...it's no different than taking money out of people's wage packet at the end of the month...how would you feel if that were you? Creatives have the total right to feel angry or annoyed about it. For the record i actually go by LINDA PERRY'S thoughts on things. "Folk are still buying songs...maybe they are not buying YOUR songs...if you are not selling yours...MAKE BETTER SONGS!!!".....she has a point. Jack makes great songs...and we are finding them. Can't think of a better way to support him than buying his albums..or his T-shirts, etc at a gig....EVERYBODY WINS....tell me i'm wrong!!!
