Absolute, utter jaw dropping perfection, not to mention answered prayer. Jack Scott remains one of rock and roll's absolute masters. We still are not worthy.

My grandson asked me how come they don't make music like this anymore.Jack has been one of my favorites through the years ,when Elvis came on the scene his hips killed a little shine off of Mr Scott's career .R.I.P.

Elvis was performing earlier than Jack Scott

Jack was fed up with touring on a bus 24/7, the drinking/drug lifestyle (he was a bodybuilder & fitness guy) and missing out on family. I believe he onetime walked off a tour bus loaded with other famous musicians and took a ride back home.

I am trying to make that happen...wanting to make a biopic...we also need to start a petition. His Facebook fan page I guess would be a good circulation spot...my plate had been a little full but it is on the list of things to do.

The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is a joke. Pop singers like Madonna and Abba are in the hall of fame but not rock legends like Jack Scott.

Big Sandy did a great introduction. I am Jack's sound guy for the last 25 years plus. I and his daughters who were there were thrilled with Big Sandy's words and enthusiasm. Big Sandy was genuinely thrilled to meet Jack. I have mixed Big Sandy as well. With Jack, I have done many 4 hour continuous shows with hit after hit all done impeccably musically. Jack was super serious about music and sound quality. I am writing this after attending Jack's funeral. Jack was a great guy and serious musician.

@@jgavs great post sir, we share your loss. Here in the UK we've enjoyed Jack's shows SO many times since the 80s, and every single show he was perfect and gave it all. And after each show he was happy to spend his time with the fans. We learnt that part of the reason for his perfect shows was due to him being the consumate professional and perfectionist, always has a good band and he always rehearses properly etc etc. Those who met him here in the UK, and no doubt everywhere else, were absolutely heartbroken when he passed away. A true legend who is sadly missed. RIP Jack.
