I get they are going in another direction, but Jack and Andy make a much more balanced couple. He understands her, right down to knowing how she is going to react, but still says it anyway. She knows and values him because she still stays and listens even though she knows he's about to deliver some home truths. She doesn't disagree with him, but walks away (proving his point). And the whole thing with the sandwich is adorable, especially the cheese.

Jack and Andy make good friends. The reason they appear as a much more balanced couple is because Andy is willing to listen to him while she doesn’t extend the same courtesy to her husband.

Andy in a way reminds me a lot of Derek from Grey’s: great at her job, noble and loyal, but is afraid of being by herself and unable to breathe and think things through, is trying to uphold a family legacy, surrounds herself with the chaos and can’t truly appreciate the good around her. Andy has good nature. She just needs some soul searching.

Gotta say, in light of all the hate on Andy’s character under these recent posts…Jaina is an EXCELLENT actress. I always appreciate her characters and how she embodies literally every bit of every emotion so well. She is an absolute talent, and I appreciate that immensely. As for her character, I don’t hate Andy. I like her a lot actually. I think complex characters mirror humanity better than the superficial or more frequently seen ones. Not everyone deals with trauma the same way, and no one has all the answers. With that said. I’m NO fan of her actions as of late or the direction in which her character has been going in. She’s definitely had better days lol. But I will say that 1. I don’t think that it makes her any less of a strong lead and 2. Such complex, and unfavorable lows can always lead to beautiful highs if handled well. Hopefully the writers do the character justice. Until then, I repeat, despite it all…Jaina is doing a wonderful job. Much love and respect to her.

She did not take it well when robert gave her the divorce in private at station 19 but she did not mind embarrassing him when she had him served there all because of her selfishness and now she realize it but it took jack to tell her about her selfishness and diane telling her to get help

@@teneil31 yeah but in her defence on the being served she didn't know he was going to be served on his shift like that, but i can't explain her rebounding with her ex's boss and i'm proud of Jack for defending Robert on that princple and not like staying quiet to stay on Andy's good side.

The situation with maya had NOTHING to do with andy but her thinking she’s invincible because she’s pruitt’s daughter made her think it was okay to disrespect her superior. I get sticking up for her best friend but she could’ve done it in a respectful manner but she didn’t and THAT’S why she’s at 23.

everyone is pushing to make sullivan the hero. they pushed maya to forgive him and are making andy do the same. yes maya is responsible for her being demoted even tho it more of an act of sexism since men do it and don't get demoted but sullivan was trying to capitalize off it and take her spot instead of trying to stand up for her like a team member would do

Andy did some bad things, but she is nothing like her mom. Come on! She didn't leave a child behind, letting her believe that she's dead for 20 years, letting her grieve for her "death". Her abandoning cruel mother didn't even come back after Pruitt died in such a tragic way. She is way worse than Andy, way worse. Yes, she left Sullivan, but he is a grown man, she was only a child when her mother just left and never looked back.
