At 4:42, how would it best to…. Then it skips forward to being assembled lol. What was the best way to reassemble with the pucks pressed in? Seems like it’s gonna be real tedious to install and adjust since you can’t easily pop the cables off

I have this on awd honda and it has alot of play backward and forward but still selects all gears

How do you remove the oem shift knob from the shifter? I tried to spin it like my civic but the whole thing is turning with the shift boot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to pull the gaiter down that’s clipped in under the shift knob, then it should unscrew

Great installed. Has that much play because it’s the knock off China version. FYI cheaper on Ali express lol 😂 I have the real and doesn’t have play. Great video though

K tuned shifter cables do not have the play compared to the knockoffs
