Remember being able to have Jack valve front shocks for a super-trick Indy 500 SKS. Simply amazing how well they worked. Cool to see/hear where he is today 👍🏼🙏🙏

A few years back a buddy of mine and I were having breakfast with Jack in McCall before going riding. We were talking about a new ski that had come out from an aftermarket company and we asked him if he liked them. In typical Jack understated style he said, "On downhills in deep snow they try and throw you off, that scares me, but maybe you would like them". Yeah, no, if something on a snowmobile scares Jack I don't want to be anywhere near it.

Carl's Cycle Sales used to be the go to location for Polaris Fox Shock rebuilding. At some point, they decided they didn't want your business anymore, jacked up prices on the Fox shock rebuilds, and put you on endless hold until you finally hung up the phone.

Not the most personable guy in the world. Been following him since I was a teenager. He is way too proud for me. And clearly, he is a little too proud of "his" products, hence the price of anything with "Carl's Cycle" on it. Just a fad.
