Ok I see what it was. Jack saw an opportunity to get big, but Duval was trying to protect him from failure. Jack got it to work by being in the right place, but Jack did go about it the wrong way. Which he admitted and they both back friends now

@freddycalipari42425 жыл бұрын
malimills nah, he wanted jack to build his name in Atlanta then branch out. Most comedians who just go to la or New York with big dreams end up on the streets. Duvall was looking out for jack.
@centinelyork5 жыл бұрын
@@freddycalipari4242 Yeah but he could have gave him his props for making something of himself in NY. He said the man was making 5K a show,and he was making 50 bucks. I mean how you gonna tell a man not to better himself, and you not helping, or your platform isn't getting him opportunities? Then to say you will be back in 6 months is a backhand slap because you are saying he doesn't have what it takes to survive there. To me it seems like at the time Duval was the one afraid not to leave comfortable surroundings, and play it safe, and wanted to have him there to buffer his platform while not properly providing the opportunity for his brother to get on. If those surroundings aren't allowing you to put your brother on, then you can't tell him he will fail somewhere else. CH has done many interviews where its clear the comic don't want the other comic to pass them, so it would have never happened. Many comics waited in line, and got burned by their comedic brothers or masters. He had to leave in my opinion because Duval would have never allowed him to succeed more than he was succeeding no matter the level, the man was making 50 bucks a show. You can outshine your master indirectly, or if he motivates you by saying you won't be nothing like he basically said would happen if he went to NYC, or by hard work and dedication to the craft. So to me Duval needed to apologize first because he was wrong. Jack has all the right to feel the way he does because he came to the concrete jungle and made something of himself outside of comfortable surroundings despite his brother not having faith in him

Jack is his own man, and he has to make decisions accordingly to his life and not accordingly to Lil Duval.

I love Duval but he definently doesn't want anyone to outshine him AT ALL. You see how he jokingly Pushed Shiggy on stage when shiggy was so- called doing too much... and it seem like he be trying to low-key 'son' the 85 south show members as well... there be others things (low- key) that i have noticed from him too. Duval WANTS everyone to shine as long as they know he is the number one alpha in the pack. Human nature i guess but i 👀 through the subliminals
