In ancient times, this performance -- in an amphitheater, say full of Greeks and under similarly competitive conditions -- would have been met with a standing ovation of 15 minutes or more. You can see here the show runners had to stop them from continuing to cheer. I'm glad this boy got to have the experience and that he appreciated it. I hope he's found success.

I hope his career lasts beyond his voice changes. He is a gifted singer and should continue to do well, if he is managed correctly and promoted as he should be. It always amazes me how people use these comment opportunities to talk hate. The judges aren't fools and they were blown away by his incredible voice.
