Really, at the end of the day, neither one from the trio knew how to handle Jack. Jack learned a lot on his own. I love that they brought the whole forgotten nephillim story into SPN, that was pretty much it. There is not more to go by, excellent series. Sincerely: Someone who just found out about SPN thanks to the pandemic. Almost quit in season 3 and then the angels showed up, Castiel to be more specific. Then darkness, Chuck, men of letters, I mean .... Fantastic.

He is seen to be unkillable, so you’re bound to hold enough power to overpower your dad and grandfather too. His paternal bloodline includes multiple gods. Heck yes he is more powerful than them all. 😂

@@littlemisszy Lucifer is an archangel who is no more powerful than the set parameters of that kind of being, he is levels below God, Amara, Death and the empty as well as most probably the leviathan as well. Jesus is God, not an angel. Lucifer isn't unkillable he got killed by Amara and God and the empty and death could do the same, they are omnipotent over their own creations. Jack is a half arch angel and half human so he should be weaker than a full arch angel, not more powerful and certainly not more powerful than God who is not his grandfather, God created his father, Lucifer calls him dad just because that's his role not because he actually is his father in that sense. I don't see how Jack can overpower the creator of all things in his creation. They've blurred all the lines and warped reality to create this story which is probably the point of the whole series. It's no wonder the God in this series is depicted as not only not all powerful but also not a perfect moral being unlike the one he is based upon

Normal nephilim were seen as an abomination as it was, and archangel ones were unthinkable -- the normal ones' powers were unpredictable and therefore dangerous, so the archangel ones would have been even worse. We saw some of that when Jack was first born. But it was more than that. It was everything Jack went through with dying and coming back. I need to watch those last few seasons again, but something in that process changed him, and he was able to absorb God's powers, because he could absorb all powers. And that was the end of it.

The moment michael screamed and luci went"woah" is just pricless and just goes to show how powerfull jack is to ovepower beings so close to power of God, and it goes with sceene where he made the entire world tell only the truth. Was kinda thinking about the antichrist kid back when he made the entire town of ppl suffer innocent things like pop rocks to death, and sitting down deamon with just a word plus excorcising the deamon by just telling it to get out. Would've been fun to see him again but that ship has sailed. Plus sam had some major sceenes where he domonstrated his power like killing deamons in front of lucifer witithin fraction of a second and killing dozen deamons in the same amount of time before striking down lilith.

Maybe god really does have to worry about jack cause the jack he killed is no where near as powerful as it could be.

Joseph Bryan it’s a show you can’t take it literally but god never created anywhere near the power level or jack. The strongest thing he created was Michael and he’s nothing compared to jack. And we know the archangels are powerful enough to hurt god because they were used to weakened the darkness so god to lock her away, and jack is way more powerful than any archangel. Jack is also the only being besides amara to rip out an archangel out of the body it’s possessing and even amara did it to Lucifer jack did it to alternative Michael who is way more powerful than regular Michael and regular Michael is way more powerful than Lucifer. And even soul powered castiel who was trying to be the new good probably no where near as powerful but even he wanted to keep Michael and Lucifer caged.

Joseph Bryan yeah that’s been a debate if amara was just part of the story may of been maybe not. But god probably doesn’t have grace because it’s angelic grace and he isn’t an angel. But it was mentioned by god that what made the arch angels arch angels is the primordial beings most of there power came from his being millions and millions of years old and we are seeing a severely weakened jack that’s only two years old wipe the floor with them. Imagine though he was at full power and millions of years old. He would have to be up there with god if not pass him...if the darkness is really his equal or even stronger. God could potentially be omnipotent but if the darkness part was true then even at full power and only being 2 years old he would be able to at least kill god and by kill I mean he has the power to if god for some reason just let him or if he caught him of guard. If god actually fought back than jack would probably lose. But you throw in a few million years on top of that and he would truly be his rival. But like I said with the season 14 ending for all we know god could be omnipotent so nothing can stop him ever.

@@joseph4301 Anything can happen in the show, there is no logical consistency. Chuck was able to disable Lucifer's powers, kill Jack with a snap, but can probably be punched to death by Sam or Dean. There is no consistency in the show. The show is mainly about fan service and the trails and tribulations of two brothers. The world around them doesn't matter. All this arguing over who is stronger than whom is irrelevant. Think of it this way, look at how powerful Magneto is by just being able to move metals. Someone that can move anything with their minds would be much more powerful. Sam and Dean should never be able to come close to fighting a demon, because a demon can twist their necks with a thought, yet they engage in so many hand-to-hand combats. Does that make any sense? The angles are so powerful, more powerful than a Tank. Just revealing their true image would burn out human eyes. Instead of trying to fight Sam/Dean, why not just walk around in your true form and kill them via sight?

For one, the Nephilim are abominations and heaven is put on red alert when one is created, then the angels seek it out to destroy it. All of this is for good reason, too, as Nephilim do become stronger than their angel parent _and_ have a consistent history of evil and destruction (destroying entire worlds in the past, according to Castiel). So angels who are decidedly fearful of Nephilim, and sentence to death any angel who spawns one, aren't gonna be quick to make more. For another, Jack is one-of-a-kind, being the only arch-Nephilim ever (that we know of). This means that Jack is more powerful than even Lucifer, and we have seen that now. He was able to smite Michael (an archangel) and to create new angels out of humans. These are not because he is a Nephilim, but because he is an arch-Nephilim. Side: I wonder what the result would have been if an angel or archangel bred not with a human but with a pagan deity (e.g., Gabriel with Kali) or a demon (e.g., Castiel with Meg). Surely the product of these unions would be even more powerful than a standard Nephilim, particularly the offspring of an archangel and a goddess.

@@HickoryDickory86 There doesn't really seem to be a real difference between angels and deities, Gabriel was regarded as a deity but was also in fact an archangel. A possible explanation is that Chuck shed his divine spark of creation on the whole of creation, but without this spark significantly weakened himself. A union between angel and human would remarry the spark of creation with divine power, and potentially become something closer to what Chuck once was. Perhaps there was a 'God' before Chuck and Amara that split himself up.

He was born after the big fall by Lucifer, who also still had his wings, and he's not a full angel

almost all of the angels lost their feathers after the fall in the final of season 8, lucifer and michael werent in heaven when the fall happens, so that's why they still are full feathered. jack was born after the fall so he never lost his wings.
