I describe the establishment of the Sportco Firearms Company in Adelaide South Australia and discuss the life of Jack Warne it's founder as well as his subsequent role with Omark Industries and their acquisition of Speer, CCI, RCBS and others. I discuss his role in the establishment of Kimber Firearms and Warne scope mounts. I then quickly look at some of Sportco's most notable products.
