ikr??? I've gone public fursuiting so many times in the last 2 years, but even when I'm with another suiter, I still get a little nervous. I also live in a small town where a lot of people would recognize my face, although luckily not a lot of people know I'm a fursuiter, or else I probably wouldn't go fursuiting in my town at all!

Bruh same. I literally took my fursuit to geek fest, which was like a very small comic Con in a museum for some reason and EVERYONE was in some kind of costume and I was still having anxiety. When I heard someone scream "FURRY" I ran tbh. I acted like I didn't hear them and started rushing out of the room. She ended up finding me and tackle hugging me and getting fake blood on my shirt. It was a shitty thing to do but I was the very first furry she's ever met so it was understandable and I didn't really mind.
