We were tipped off by a KZbin comment about this BEAUTIFUL place to visit in Vietnam. It seems to escape the mass tourism that many popular places in Vietnam are accustomed to.
That place? Ninh Binh, Vietnam.

Ninh Binh is my Dad’s birthplace. It is also known as Ha Long Bay on land with majestic mountains and patty fields. I hope you guys enjoyed your visit. You are spot on that because of Cov 19, the tourists are non-existence. Enjoy the town without having any tourists around because on a normal day, you would be elbow to elbow with tourists.

Wow so happy you two had a great time, its an amazing place. Sapa and the Muong Hoa Valley is another great place but is getting too many tourists now, so Ninh Binh is definitely a more relaxing destination.Thanks for the video and safe travels.

I'd love to do the Tam Coc boat ride again next week going to Vietnam. It used to be crowded before the corona virus issue. Hope there are tourists still doing the boat ride.I also love their Oreo cookies ice cream flavor. It's really cool inside the mouth and I didn't see that when I was in Canada hehehe

Ninh binh was also our favourite place in Vietnam along with Sapa! It’s the hard to reach places that are truly amazing in Vietnam 😍

Sapa is not hard to reach at all, and it is not nice anymore, very broken roads and a lot of mud. I liked the Ha Giang Loop much more.

It was James Vincent who told you about Ninh Binh, I thought it was me because I tell everyone to go there. We went there 6 years ago and it was just starting to get more tourists but still very local. The walk up the mountain was free as there wasn't many tourists to make it worth while. The rolling mist at night was creepy and if you left your window open your room would get wet. The mist was so bad the put down wooden planks as the tiles were wet and slippery.

Donald Tran What danger? Vietnam is very safe. Biggest issue is bag snatching in the city, and the ever present over charging of tourists if you’re not savvy. I’ve been there countless times on business and pleasure as I live in Thailand. Delightful people there
