I left Cambodia since I was 9 years old and now I'm 53 and I only went back there once in 2004. About the bus from Kampot to Sihanouk Ville, I know which company you go to. And that one always has problems. The road itself was under contraction and till now because of the big time flooding. Anyway, thanks so much to share our lovely country with the world. Hope you guy come again and enjoy more. Love from Cambodian people. :D

Cambodia use to be very high tech! In the old time very sophisticated country very cultural in histories etc. But since the Genocide from the Kmers Rouge we’ll slowly recovery from the war atrocity everything change . That’s the time when we flee Cambodia to America . Nowadays I’m so happy to sees my country rise and shine to another level of direction . I understand Angkor is not your thing but they have many not so touristy places scattered around. The Temples really help to paint a picture about Cambodia's past, a must see thing i believe in Cambodia. Keep up the great work!

While there may not be any western fast food chains in the provinces, there are a bunch in Phnom Penh. Here are the ones I saw: Right off the plane at the airport: Dairy Queen, Burger King, Starbucks. There maybe more by now. In PP: Dairy Queen, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Starbucks, Kenny Rogers Roasters, Tous Les Jour bakeries.
