This video is one of your best. I'm just getting around to watching it, but I wish that I had been more interested in Reusable Blocks before today. Now that I know about these tricks, I will have a much easier time creating websites with Gutenberg.

Wow, Jack, this was fantastic and really helpful. I was looking for one thing but I loved the way you grouped other related topics together; also you know your viewers will be asking themselves, "Ah, yes, but could I do...", and then you anticipate such questions and make it look so easy. I could not stop watching. I'll need to go over it again for some things but I know once I've mastered the steps you show I'll get the result. First class. Thank you for posting. Liked and subscribed.

Wow the export JSON to another website is GREAT! Which screenrecorder do you use to make the zoom and focus like that? Thank you Jack!
@JackCao3 жыл бұрын
I use the video editor to zoom. The screen recorder just records a still screen. OBS studios (free open source screen recording tool that beats all paid tools) is the screen recorder. I use Filmora to edit the videos.
@miketaiwanwalkcity63553 жыл бұрын
@@JackCao Thank you very much! It gives impression that the zoom n focus effects are made live during the recording so it's very well edited, must take hours for editing

Reusable blocks sound great but I could not follow your hyper-fast moves to get the steps for the exception I needed to disconnect because it messed up everything else and destroyed my site continuity. Thanks for trying. Best Wishes.

Bro I have question. I want to build news r magazine like website. Buying both kadence theme and blocks for website or newspaper theme which u will suggest?
@JackCao3 жыл бұрын
Hey bro, it depends on what your goal is. If your only intention is to build a magazine site then the newspaper theme, but if you need multi purpose sites, like you need to build landing pages, home pages, etc, then Kadence theme and blocks are good for those. Newspaper: restrictive customization; kadence: flexible customization.

Hi Jack, I currently use GeneratePress and one of their starter sites. I went for GeneratePress for speed and the fact that it’s lightweight. I want to set up a blog. Do you think in your experience that GeneratePress is a good choice?
@JackCao3 жыл бұрын
Yes. Absolutely. But there is a learning curve when it comes to customizing the theme. So, do leverage on their awesome support team whenever possible if you need something customized.
@ThePistonPit3 жыл бұрын
@@JackCao what would the next best theme be in terms of speed and customisation? A theme that can be as quick or close enough to GeneratePress but more easier to use without much of a learning curve?

Yo Jack, thanks for the tutorial. Great stuff man! I did try using reusable blocks a while back, but what I experienced wasn't good because they started disappearing. So as you can imagine, that became a nightmare - especially when those reusable blocks were crucial elements like a pricing chart or something and it just vanishes from all the pages. Not cool. So since then I kinda just haven't trusted reusable blocks. I want to, but they hurt me bro. 😭 Not sure if that was a temporary error or what, but I came across several other people reporting the same issue. Have you ever experienced this?...and if so, is there a fix for it instead of having to sit around biting your nails wondering if all your reusable blocks will just decide to vanish one day!😖
