Ray Porter is simply the best in the audiobook world. Hands down.

I love Ray Porter. I have trouble deciding whether I like him, Jim Daley, or Michael Kramer more. Mostly, I just love all 3 of them. :)

@@Dashmogeek already have! I’m a serious fan! I’ve also listened to James Abel series (Joe Rush), Peter Clines (Threshold Universe), The Battle Born series (Jack Stewart), Feedback (Dennis Taylor), AG Riddle (Quantum Radio), Paradox Bound (Peter Clines), Nick Jones (Joseph Bridgeman series), but all you’ve mentioned were excellent too!!

So awesome…! I’m one of those people that listens first, and then reads the book for myself after. Ray puts me IN the universe where the story is taking place. Such a pro.

Fun insights. I was only familiar with his voice as the more comical tech nerd BOB before the Reece books, and there was a short period of adjustment to this completely different universe, but he is wonderfully versatile.

I actually look for books read by Ray Porter because he makes the story so much better.

Been listening to him for YEARS, it's so good to put a face with a voice. He does an amazing job as a narrator. He, George Guidall, and Scott Brick are my favorites! Awesome video and thank you for recognizing an amazing narrator, I NEVER see that with authors!

Ray Porter is my favorite narrator. I started hearing him when listening to sons of valor and the tier one series. I was so happy when I started to read your series and he narrated them. Also thank you for keeping the same narrator! I drove 3 hours a day round trip for work and his comment about reading this for the person commuting hit me. Hats off to both of you. I started with Vince Flynns Mitch Rapp a few years ago and since I have binged through Brad Thor, Brian Andrews & Jeffery Wilson, and most recently yours. I love them all but like was said in the conversation yours has a different cadence. It is unpredictable. I have been wanting to begin writing, I have since I was a kid. Your series inspired me to get off my ass and do it finally so thank you. I'm about to start your new release on my drive Monday, keep up the great work!

I have to say. I don’t know if I’ve laughed as hard listto an Audiobook as did listening to Ray doing “ Cremmins and Woody” surveillance van banter during Reece and Katie being attacked by the Iranians in “The Devil’s Hand”! OMG, when Woody says “He’s a bad Muthaphucaaa!!” I spit my Monster all over my windshield.

He's really great, but he shouldn't ever imitate female voices (in fact, nobody should!) as this completely ruins scenes with unintentional humor. (For PC reasons, I won't tell what he sounds like. 😂)
