my advice for killing the big ones just stand above the water or even in the water the spiders don’t seem to want to come in the water so they can’t get too close and u can fight them from far it worked after dying like 6 times

This mission broke on me after dying fighting some spiders. Now the g Floating platforms no longer spawn even if I load previous save points or abandon the mission.

I had to do that entire thing while only affording to take one hit. My health was low when I got there, and I had no potions to heal. So I literally couldn't take a hit on the big boss ones, and still managed it on my first try thanks to a lot of dodging and timing with protego... But I panicked a lot. I still haven't died in the game and I'm level 15 now, playing on normal difficulty. I've had some very close calls though.

I died once cus I'm terrible at combat in any battles and get desperate.. granted I did do this mission on Lvl 20 cus I explored a heck of a lot before so I had some advantage. But they are very annoying to fight.

@@jaimieroebuck5893 So I just figured it was glitching, so I just purposely died to reset it. Any sort of way to let you start over that part of the quest should do the trick. Hope this helps.:D

All you need to do is fast travel to the waypoint right by Jackdaws rest there should be one already green if you’ve completed the mission from there it allows you to walk back into the cave you need to go to world map to find the waypoint to travel to

@@utinlightning6727 So I went back and redid the whole thing and the loot you get from the chests is random. So if you don't get it from inside that boss room it will randomly generate in another chest somewhere else so you're not actually missing out on anything if you didn't check those chests. 👍

@@3eezy LOL! You're so right about the ones in Skyrim! I even tried a Spider Removal mod for Skyrim (on PC), and that just made it worse. I think they turned into Bears that moved weird and shot webs. I just quit playing and felt upset that I could never finish that game.

Dodging them is what helped me after dying quite a few times. It's simple but effective and gives u time to cast a spell on them.

@@caslolll I found the solution mate yes! Exit the game and do file reaparing on steam (if you are on pc ) properites -local files and Verify integrity of game files option.

The first time around boy was I mad after finishing the game and restarting it was a breeze.. My fear of spiders kind of lessoned a bit after playing the game as well. Wait until you learn the avada kadvra curse and then go back and finish that one quest with that big asswipe. 🥲
