I think the 4 factions that appeared in the missing series are the ones that our hero gonna represent/ to choose from. Just as seen in the leak, we could play as a Grey Warden. That was probably main reason for The Missing to show us who our hero might represent

If BioWare takes a few pages out of origins, Dragon age 2, and inquisition into one masterpiece then honestly nothing can go wrong. Just take the best from all 3, dragon age 2 got a lot of flak back in the day but I love it and it’s very well written and it’s a must play if you trying to play through all the games before dreadwolf

DA2 has some of the best characters ever written in games, and a great story. Origins gameplay and overall dark fantasy vibe is unmatched, the origin stories were excellent and the choices and story were great. Inquisition also has great characters and I love the Inquisition and the Inquisitor and the scope of the mission in that game, as well as the lore reveals we got w Solas and Mythal and all the Fade/ Veil/ Elves stuff that went super deep. Being a politically powerful figure was really fun. I really miss origins OP mages, I constantly get nuked by blood mages playing on normal, I want that back. Also I want blood mages in general back. I'd also like more unique characters. While I love the Inquisitor, you are basically the same person no matter what race or gender you choose, it would be cool if there were multiple differently voiced origins protags like we got with Hawke, ttough I understand that is complicated and expensive it's just a dream ❤️

@@carlyofearth I mean Baldurs Gate 3 gives me hope. Seeing as the first two were done by BioWare. It makes sense after playing Bg3 why BioWare even made Dragon Age. I think if Larian can make a good BioWare style game, all BioWare has to do, is take notes.

I feel bad for Hawke. Okay Imagine this: You save Kirkwall from Qunari and the Mages and Templars. You kill an Ancient Darkspawn. Only to find out that he is alive again. You fight through a Warden Fortress and Go pyshically in the Fade. (Maybe survived) Just to go back and find out that Meredith also isn't dead and now is part of the Red Templars. So. On the rating of big story villains killed by Hawke... 25% killing rate. You bargain with the Arashok and not fight him. Corypheus is alike again. Meredith is alive. Again. And Orsino is dead. But great videos man! Keep up to good work!

Discussing the various factions has me thinking about origin stories again. Say there were 3-5 options u could choose from to be a part of during character creation, u also choose ur race and such then of course, but I love the idea of many combinations u could have for role play purposes

I have a feeling the game is going to take focus around Tevinter/Par Vollen and Seheron. I’d love to finally play as a Tevinter. Whether it’s a bad ass slave like Fenris or a Magister like Dorian. Or even a Tal Vashoth fog warrior. I just want a Tevinter focused game considering the Tevinter and Old Elven gods go hand in hand. I’m convinced Solas was there with Coryp when he first crossed into the Black city. And the war between the creators and the forgotten ones is indeed the war between the ancient elves and the old gods (the Tevinter priests)

What if the Executers instead of being ancient elves themselves are descended from ancient elves that left Thedas before Solas set up the veil so now they have become a whole new race of elves who share distant ancestors with the Elves of Thedas these Elves are taller and stronger

I just hope they don't introduce too many factions and make the mistake in not having enough time to delve into them all, no one likes a shallow faction pool. Have you thought about making a potential companion video? Not just companions we may see from the comics, but ones from the early concept art? Maybe talk about Davrin, or the potential dwarven female rogue, or that female quanari? Maybe just speculation about potential backgrounds and personalities? Or talk about what we really need in companions that have yet to make the list? A male elf without commitment issues would be nice....

I mean, faking his death would be the best way to ensure Illario becomes heir to the First Talon and also, being "dead" is good way for our companions to remain inconspicuous. My guess would be a magic item of some sort that blocks his magic, could also ask the same question about why he wouldn't just kill us in our sleep if he's capable of that now. They also have to explain how we managed to get control over an eluvian from Solas, especially if he claims to have full control over all of them now. Lots to answer for.

If there is no stealth kills, with a variety of different styles and combos. Not worth getting. A game that takes years to make, should add stealth, climbing, jumping, crawling, crouching, swimming, and etc.

Sorry but these new groups...... The Veil Jumpers and The Shadow Dragons sound absolutely ridiculous, who wrote this? A three year old?! We have such cool faction names like the Antivan Crows, the Lucerni, the Venatori, the Mortalitasi, the (Red) Templars and then we get faction names that sound like they were invented by someone who just started their first fan fic and just started worldbuilding. Veil Jumpers and Shadow Dragons sound so ridiculous that it kind of takes me out of the DA world and I am honestly fearing that their writing quality has dropped. It just sounds so liek someone wants to be edgy. I can't. I hope that those factions stay in the comics and don't become a prominent faction in the upcoming game.

I like in this dragon age solas wont be a typical evil, he wants to restore elven civilization, which from human perspective might sound evil but from an elven one even the dalish he is a savior and would praise him. I want my dalish warden WHO is alive to side with Solas and win against humans.
