I'd do neither if those are the options. No point in dimming your light output for the front or the rear other than just for looks. Safety > Looks.

Rich rebuilds has a great video where he takes the headlight apart and paints the chrome inside the light looks way better and you don't have reduced brightness

Unfortunately the headlights on the Model 3 aren't projector headlights and this may completely kill all reflective properties of the housing.

My X said to raise the car to maximum height and disable the life and put in Jack Mode. That gave me plenty of room for my Pucks and the rectangular cubes (rubber) that I bought from the QuickJack folks. I use a different Quick Jack for my Z06 but the pucks and rectangular cubes give me plenty of support in the correct spots.

Normally I would pick the black left headlight for the stronger contrasting effect. But the Tesla LED headlights are so cool on their own that I would go or keep the matt finish on the right to show off the elegant details. With that said, does your body shop have a light smoke matt material that you could try to get the best of both worlds..... just saying because you asked. Great jack system, you now have me thinking about those....

I would go with clear, not tinted or matte. Tint will reduce light output and matte will diffuse it, adding glare. PPF is better than nothing, but XPel headlight protection will last the life of the car and protect from much larger rocks and impacts.

Of everything you've done, the red line on the S is the best. Simple, tasty modification. I do NOT get the impulse to make every surface of the car matte. Contrast of textures is more interesting to the eye. And with the headlights your playing with something that has been engineered for performance and safety. Go with clear.

It is possible to cover headlights selectively, meaning cutouts where the light actually projects from, but a very dark mask where there is no light coming through.

Your Lift Jack is going to pay for itself in no time! You broke the bank with those floor tiles. I would not want to reduce headlight or taillight light output, just make sure to PPF those headlights.

I can see you are using an old model; i just bought the costco 7000TL which is the shorter wheelbase. are YOU using another model when lifting the model 3? according to them; the new ELX has a FRAME of 86.75 inches which las time i checked does not fit under my model 3. however i am getting model x at the end of the month and i want to buy the correct one. what would you advise?

Matte ppf. The black tint makes the headlights too dark and makes the headlights pop-out more and makes the bumper more hidden. The matte ppf look really good and let's the bumper pop out more. You spent your money on a really good looking bumper, so let it pop out. Go matte ppf for the headlights and tail lights!!!

The rubber blocks that come with the Quickjack are almost too dangerous to use. They have a tendency of sliding around too much. I opted to use the SUV extension kit that has very nice lift points that are made from some pretty beefy steel. These things don't move at all....

XPEL makes a tinted self healing that is the same as the clear Bra...I did my model 3 with this for the fogs and the headlights and it looks amazing. OZBRZ in AZ did the work.

How far apart are the jack points on an X? I've got a QJ 7000EXT which I've used on anything from a tiny little MR2 to my X5M to my Harley Davidson F150. Problem is the X5M pads are pretty far apart and I only sit on about half of each pad...never had an issue, but I'm still curious if I can use my QJ with the X.

Great idea using the rubber pads to raise your Model 3! I've always wanted to buy the QuickJacks because I see them for sale on Costco every now and then. I don't like the look of the matte finish on the headlights. It looks like the beginning stages of headlights on old cars that are foggy and yellowed.

The most important step missed.....all cars with air suspension have to set to jack mode before lifting to prevent damage to the air suspension components.

You don't need the jack pads if you use the rubber blocks. Also just make your own Jack pads for a few dollars

The jack points on the Tesla are not square shaped and the rubber will conform around the jack point and could potentially put pressure on the battery. The solid jack pad is a much better option imo.
