I started out with a Jackery Explorer 500 years ago. I bought it primarily to power my ham radio communications during a grid down or temporary power outage. I use it often and I feel very good about my purchase. Less than a year ago I purchased the Jackery 2000 Pro specifically for home use during a power outage. I can run my refrigerator, my freezer, and my natural gas furnace with the 2000. It is a great peace of mind for me. I’m sure that there are other manufacturers products that are comparable to the Jackery, but I decided to stay with a proven product line and have not been at all disappointed. I am now considering buying a Jackery 1000 Plus specifically for camping and recreational activities. I do have a 42-quart portable refrigerator/freezer and a 3-quart Instant Pot which would work very well with this power station for added convenience when away from home.

I have this Jackery 1000 with 2-100W solar panels. It has worked out fine with my Dometic CFX3 75. However, I wished I bought the 1500 or 2000W. I do have a Bluetti 2000 and between these 2 power source, it keeps my Dometic cold/frozen. I had definitely used the solar panels for multiple days of camping because the Dometic uses lots of wattage.

4 notes: The unit puts out 108 Volts, which is adequate but embarrassing. Lots of cheap generators only produce brownout-quality voltage of 110 as well, and vehicle outlets are typically 115. The US standard is 120 and has been since WWII. Anything less is cutting corners. I bought mine on a good sale at Amazon August of 2024 for $550. There are two newer models of Jackery 1000 (V2 and Plus) but they have significantly more horror stories in the reviews. This earliest model has a whopping 85% 5* reviews, nearly unheard of for any contraption on Amazon. This model does have the less desirable Lithium Ion batteries instead of the fireproof LiFePO4 batteries, if you care.

Why did you get the older model? I think there’s a redesigned version of this, that’s more square and better battery

I purchased this battery pack about 2 years ago, so it was still considered new back then.

Not too many power banks will power a diesel battery. Has nothing to do with the inverter. The limiting factor is the DC out put. Most DC output average around 120V to 130V, most diesel heaters require 150V. The energizer is a 320wh power bank but the dc output is about 155V, Oupes 600 also output enough dc to start a diesel heater as well as the Bouge power bank another 300wh power bank outputs about 152, ecoflow river pro a 720 wh battery also output enough dc power to start your diesel heater. It has nothing to do with the inverter size. The anker solix 3800 with a 3000+ inverter won't power a diesel heater. Check Pecron also they will power diesel heaters. The Jackery 2000 will power a diesel heater but they are very expensive.
