In poorly optimized games (notably in-dev games) having a really nice GPU can sometimes be worse, as it isn't handled by that GPU particularly well. PUBG also seems to be less GPU intensive, so if you don't have decent RAM or a decent CPU, that could be holding you back as well.

There are i5's that are better than i7's, that's why it's stupid to just say that you "have an i5". It means literally nothing, at the very least you'd have to say which generation, but the specific chip is the only important factor. The i5 4690 is actually significantly better than many i7 chips, except the flagship xx70 and x700 chips.

Jack! It'd be AWESOME if you made a video with a full uncut match and you explain your thinking and tactics through-out so that we can better understand of how to think when we're playing. There are moments when I find myself not knowing what to do for the best possible outcome, both in battles and when travelling to the next circle. Would really appreciate a video like that.
