I remember my friend renting out a server for 100's only, we would try to get a makeshift clan-battle-esc going on from about 5-9. I loved the suppression mechanic and how well it worked for team play. Just suppress the enemy an run in front of them, or flank them to get really easy kills since they're already supressed.

^agree. Guns in this game were pretty interesting, really good variety in weapons without having poor balance for the most part. Best part of this game is the map design though. Some of the best maps in video game history, also the way that infantry gameplay was fused with vehicle gameplay. For some reason the feel of BF1 can't even come close to BF3 imo. Don't really know how to explain it, but BF1 just feels too "clean" or it is lacking a unique style.

Played a lot of BF3 on Xbox 360 (yes I know, filthy console casual) but I enjoyed it so much. Properly got me into the Battlefield series, made a few friends for life in some squads. Would love a remastering with modern server technology.

I love battlefield 3 its hands down the best game in the series and ive always loved it. It was simple it was fun, and it had good maps. I miss the days of decent games that were simple now its a bunch of eye candy garbage. Its probably my favorite game of all time.

I've put in more hours on Hardline than BF4. 4 felt like an expansion, and not a good one, of part 3. Hardline had a solid launch and some good ideas that were put into other games. I loved the expansion maps but the players disappeared too quickly.

This is what I loved about BF3 and battlefield games in general, like there is s legit war going on all the time, either someone is having a sniper battle, tank battle, helicopter/jet fight, or just infantry fights, this game and series is fucking amazing snd rarely ever disappoints if done by dice

Such nostalgia. Cyrstal clear memories of playing this and Skyrim in my room during Christmas break of my freshman year in high school. 2011 was a damn good year.
