What annoys me about the a10 in this game is how delicate it is. Irl it's basically a flying tank. It can fly with Half a wing blown off, half the tail off, one engine off, and with multiple holes in the gas tank. In this game you can hit it with a few aa rounds and it explodes.

Andrew Land hmmm, don’t know if your joking but if it lost a wing or a tail that you plane is going down. Holes in gas tank will make the plane set on fire or run out of fuel. The jets in bf4 take a lot more shots then in real life.

And yet the little bird helicopter, with a couple of engineers in the back, with the bloody silly blowlamp, can repair constantly and make the thing nearly indestructible. And the little bird in reality is a fragile civilian chopper you can bring down with a pistol. Choppers are way out of balance in Battlefield 4.

SvenTviking actually MH-6 Little Birds are durable as fuck, their early models were so good that even hundreds of rounds from rifle fire couldn’t pierce the underbelly of the helicopter. And it was cheap compared to Hueys

Am I the only person who is aware that if you die in the 'end game screen' when the game shows the map after your team won or lost and you were in a heli (like jack and levelcap) you crash because the game basically locks control because the game is over, and you crash and you get a death? Does anyone else know about this? If so, why the hell ain't DICE fixing this problem?

***** Well, he plays Arma with advanced flight model. So fast landings are not possible. You really have to start ease the speed way before the landing (just like you would do with a real heli). Or you will lose your rotors or break the airframe (and kill everyone on board). For example fly littlebird at +150kph and then put nose up, your rotors will break and you fall like a stone. You have to be careful even with basic turns at high speeds. I see people fly with the arcade flight model and they do crazy fast landings (because the airframe doesn't have damage model when arcade flight model is used) that are just physically impossible.

God. Controllers are great for flying due to the sticks making it seem somewhat "realistic." If you're used to m+kb than it might take a few matches to get used to the controller but it makes it so much easier.
