My ONLY complaint with the game comes down to the fact that ONLY a scout has bolt action rifles. This war was primarily fought with a bolt action rifle, so 1/4 of the weapons being bolt is WAY to low. I want to be a medic with a bolt (because no one revives) but then I get stuck with those stupid semi autos.

Everything's a one shot kill in hardcore (or close enough), which is why you should NOT play it. It's not real battlefield. When everything's an instant kill, BF's already imperfect gunplay is completely eliminated. Which is to say, there is no gunplay in hardcore. All it is is putting crosshairs on a target. Even people with cerebral palsy can pull that off.

Nope, putting a crosshair on the target is only one of dozens of things good players have to do, and almost certainly the least. You have to take into account positioning (of yourself, your target, your team, their team, the local map area, and the objective), you have to manage spread and spread increase, recoil and recoil decrease, muzzle velocity, mag size, reloads, rate of fire, damage multipliers (head versus arm/leg), and damage dropoff. Each of these things is irrelevant, much less relevant, or much easier in hardcore. Even positioning, the most important thing in BF1, isn't that big a deal in hardcore, since a big part of positioning involves determining for how long to expose yourself to fire. How long you have to be exposed depends in large part on how quickly your weapon can kill.

I love how this gun looks like a mixture of the lebel, the chauchat and the ribeyrolles, in the end RSC means Ribeyrolles Sutter Chauchat and was supposed to replace the lebel, the buttstock is from a lebel and the mechanism was designed by the creators of the chauchat and the ribeyrolles

When you mentioned that guy's interesting name, it really made me think about how differently I look at gamertags and online ID's in in general nowadays. I used to really pay attention to them and associate them as another individual person, but as time progressed I notice them less and less and I rarely even think about them as another person. Problem is the Federov exists now. Why be accurate and careful when your gun is full auto, low recoil AND high mag cap? Until that thing gets a nerf, the RSC will always be underrated

You guys are going off stats...Thats not all that makes a gun. When you run around a corner with an rsc, and the guy who ran into you has a federov..you have to be absolutely perfect and dead on, the Federov user has the advantage as they can spam shots much easier..and its made for close range.

The RSC is one of my favorite medic SLR's. My go to if I'm on a more mid/long range maps like San Quentin, Monte Grapa, Empries edge, Sinai, etc. The two shot kill is just so satisfying. If you're accurate enough, you can kill up to 3 people without having to reload, as long as you make sure to have 6 rounds available.

The selbslader 1906 is the most underrated gun. Laser accurate with a fast fire rat I outgun smgs up close if I’m ready for a 1v1 battle. 5 rounds in the chamber but rewards with a quick rate of fire and laser accuracy. Better accuracy than any other medic weapon in my opinion

I honestly think this gun is OP. I love using it. It's essentially like using a sniper rifle in semi auto. The reason a lot of people don't like it is because they try to use it like other semi auto rifles when they should be using it like iron sights infantry model scout rifle. At medium range it's almost always a two shot kill like most of the Scout rifles not named martini. You have to hang back with it a bit and actually play as a medic behind your teammates but if you're a good shot and play with patience this gun is one of the very best in the game.

I never got a rhythm for the RSC Factory, the iron sights encourage a shorter engagement distance than it really shines at. They're good, but the recoil reset with them is jarring, and six shots at SMG/LMG range is just not a good gamble for me. I have recently come around on the Optical variant though, and oh my. You can countersnipe with that thing so well, and pick out headshots against closer-ranged opponents so much better, it's like a different rifle. The Selbstlader 1906 and General Liu both have nasty damage and better recoil, but the RSC Optical is simply different gravy.

Statistically inferior how? Going by the gun math, its best-case time to kill is just about tied with the Autoloading 8 (which is actually like 30 milliseconds faster). That makes it, statistically if you will, pretty excellent. The problem is you literally need 100% accuracy to be even slightly effective with it. If you miss a shot, its TTK falls off a cliff and the gun becomes a joke. But that's not a stat problem. It's an aim problem. So, unless you're a robot and have aim to match, you should probably use the Autoloading 8 .35.

Great vid! I enjoyed your idea for a 'Gun Game' mode in BF1 as well for warm-ups or just for fun. And I'd like to contribute an idea as well. There should be an option for realistic mags somewhere. So if you're reloading your weapon mag with rounds still in it you lose those rounds. I'm not implying anything about the reloading...I reload with half full clips too and rather often at that. But I just think that would be a neat feature at times.

All I know is the Federov made the Medic class my favourite one to play now. Good suppression and ability to dominate up to medium ranges. Not even contest, not even the Stebstalader (spelling) can compete.

This is my favourite medic gun, biggest gripe with it is that it doesn’t feel nearly as powerful as it should. Look at the general Liu rifle for example, it feels like a tank whenever you shoot it, the RSC is missing that for me.
