Once you understand the game I bet you'll be a god, also turn off automatic servers and pick which ones you want to play on to fix the lag, you have to do that before you launch the game

So I did that but I still seem to be getting higher than advertised ping. Is that normal? I’ll try it again tonight without the Seattle server selected but it seems every match I get into I have 70+ ping despite that server being the only one the launcher said would have that high of ping.

Well no one is really a god in this game. Even Shroud and Pestily who grinded the crap out of eft die very often. Not as often but its not a game with 30 to 1 KDR like CoD.

14:31 well, there is Killa, who roams around the shopping mall and kills both scavs and players. He is not guaranteed to spawn, but he will relentlessly hunt you down if he sees you. He has very strong armor and often spawns with an RPK that has a 95 round drum mag.

Killa doesn't engage AI Scavs, but player Scavs are open season. And he goes batshit crazy with PMCs, he's relentless and that 6B13 and custom Altyn (as well as that sweet Adik tracksuit) he wears give him the powers of the SPONGE. Proper M995 placement is key. M855A1 also works against Lvl 4 armor now.

@@OhHenrie1 Remove all the tick boxes at the bottom of the graphics settings, crank up Anti aliasing to taa high and turn on anisotropic filtering, oh and also play around with sharpness, really helps out with visual crispyness. Game looks hella nice on my side, even on far distances its easy to spot movement.

For new players to tarkov, ammo is very important when looking for a fight. Different types of ammo will effect the penetration the round will have on certain targets. For example, class 3 armour will stop most of the starting bullets that newer players will have. Ammo like 5.45 PS or 9x19 PST GZH (Or all 9mm actually) will be stopped by class 3 armour. If you are planning to kill decked players, pick a gun with high stopping power that is easily accessible, like the hunter or Mosin. Bullets like the 7.62x54r LPS GZH for the Mosin are extremely cost effective; cheap, reliable, and excellent penetration. Until the flea market is unlocked, you have to use your traders to the best ability. Finally, don’t shoot other AI scavs when you yourself is a scav; they don’t aggro until you shoot fellow AI scavs. Only time you should consider shooting is if they have a much better gun, or they are a player scav that you are unsure if they are friendly or not. Otherwise, you risk the entire map’s scavs being aggressive towards you.

Gladly agree on what you said. Tarkov is not an easier FPS than other gamers' thinking since this game has requested a realistic firefight to gamers compared to other FPS games. And like so many well-experienced TOP rankers have been showing their gaming video on KZbin as you know, so most newbie gamers would be an easier quarry for top dog gamers. Honestly, I was one of them when I was a noob gamer in Tarkov. But you have your trustable teammate like that in the video, so your gaming experiences wouldn't be worse if your mate will give you a covering fire against enemy guys' attack.

If you want to get into this game sir, I recommend you play factory to get a kill, loot the kill, and extract through gate 3 to gain confidence surviving your first raid with loot will boost your confidence. Then learn factory and once you’ve learned factory learn customs and do the quests from the traders. Then learn woods and the then shoreline then interchange then reserve then labs.

Customs is not for noobs, maybe the Quests lead you there first but the choke points and ambush position are horrible for a new player... start with Shoreline for a slow gameplay and to learn mechanics

Map knowledge, gun knowledge and knowledge of ammo is so important. try playing off line raids to work everything out and you wont lose or gain anything other than knowledge. you will get better with time. ignore anyone who puts you down. the majority of the takov community are great and friendly people. Have fun jack thats the main thing!

Armor is an issue yes. But other than armor ttk is very high. An unarmored opponent only needs at most 3 to the chest or 1 to the head

If you are new at this game without supervision through a better player EfT is a terrifing experience. First tip: press shift when you stop sprinting so you don't slide on the ground. That makes a lot of noise.
