Jackfruit seed, potato & onion Sambar
Ingredients -
Toor Dal, Jackfruit seeds & freshly grated coconut, asafoetida, fenugreek seeds, leaves, red chillies, tamarind juice, salt & grated coconut,
Peeled jackfruit seeds, chopped onions & 3 green chillies, roughly chopped potatoes, tomatoes, sambar powder, coriander powder
Take a cooker, add in washed Toor dal & required water, then add in roughly chopped potatoes, add in roughly chopped onions, add 2 or 3 green chillies, add in jackfruit seeds, add in tomatoes 🍅, add in a bit of oil, add tumeric powder, curry leaves 🍃, salt, mix well, then close the lid & let it cook
Take a pan, pour groundnut oil, add in mustard seeds, after it crackles, add in fenugreek seeds, add in curry leaves 🍃 red chillies, asafoetida, tumeric powder and fry it well, add a cup of water, then add in Tamarind juice, add a cup of water or veg stalk and let it boil, add in a spoon of coriander powder, after that in a bowl 🥣mix sambar powder with water so that it doesn't form lumps, pour the sambar mixture into the pan, add in salt as per your taste, add in freshly grated coconut, let it boil for a while, and thicken a bit, then add boiled Dal, jackfruit seeds & veggies into the pan, pour it along with veg stalk, let it simmer, stir in between and come to a nice boil.
