The way he looks at her from the very beginning, that's when I i knew it's about those two. You know a guy likes you when he gives you an interesting nickname, never heard him call her by her name actually. You know a guy loves you when he talks about things he wouldn't say to anyone with you and somehow in his own way, he's always present, always there and just does stuff for you. I didn't read the book but I was Team Cole from the get go, but this is what I hate when they turn books into movies and TV shows. Now that I know they gave Alex scenes with Jackie scenes that are actually Cole and Jackie's and even gave them the relationship just for drama, I'm a little miffed. The books are always better, because they can put more into books than on screen. Hopefully in season 2 Cole gets the scenes with her that he deserves.❤

Oh my God, now I want to read the book even more! How could they give this beautiful scene to Alex?? I felt that it was Cole who had to show this to Jackie! Does Jackie even have feelings for Alex in the book? Was she dating him or was it just flirting? No wonder it seemed to me that the author of the book had a pair of Jackie and Cole in the canon. No matter how the writers and directors try to turn everything around, it's still noticeable. So I'm afraid of the second season, if the author originally planned a pair of Jackie and Cole, then the fact that they introduced so many scenes with Alex suggests that the writers want Jackie to stay with Alex. Then I won't watch the second season. But I will believe to the end that Cole's scenes were given to Alex just to make more drama. Another confirmation of why I don't like book adaptations.

I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other. I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it. In my opinion, romantic love should not be on the highest pedestal. In my opinion, parents and siblings' family love is the strongest. Family knows who you are. Romance is fake for lots of people, put on a false persona and romance on most parts gets ugly real fast. For the reality of romance is no Disney love story. Parents and siblings' family love is one of the strongest types of love there is. If romantic love is actually real, it would be one of the weakest types of love there is.

I'm actually so mad they kissed at the very end of the series. Their kiss was so hot, it would've made the series way better. I am glad they kissed though, if they didn't I would be aggravated.

They’re her legal guardians, they didn’t adopt her. I think there’s a difference. I don’t think she would’ve wanted to be adopted, like when alex called her a Walter she got super upset because he is still a howard

No she not adopted…they were appointed her caretakers until she reach 18.Similar to god parents in the event anything were to happen to both parents.In this case her parents appointed them her guardian since she only a minor

No she dresses preppy or conservative. Which is the stereotypical sign that she is studious and hard-working. And she's very serious when it comes to her schooling and her job. You can see glimpses of her changing in that regard especially when she's at home with boys. Where as out in the world she presents herself in a different way. She wants to be taken seriously and that's of doing it. If you look at most people that live in New York their work attire is very blazer, pants, heels, very conservative ect.

I really don’t understand that there even is a team Alex. The whole show is about Jackie and Cole, even when she is with Alex it is still about Jackie and Cole (how she choses Alex because he is safe, how Cold matures in putting the feelings of his brother first and gives Jackie the choice) The is no doubt that she will end up with Cole.

Jackie is very mature for her age Cole seems to be a very wise himself especially with the way he talks to her and the his father confronts him about about his behavior saying that's not like him. And I think both he and Catherine can see the change in him now that Jackie's been there. I think that is also why they didn't want her to leave with her Uncle Richard when he came to convince her to go back to New York. At least when she went back this time she went back with Richard and Danny. Which means most likely Danny is going to convince her to come back. And I can see why she left because she's fallen in love with Cole and she realizes that that changes everything for her on multiple levels. Not just a place to stay but a new life, new lifestyle, real love, her dreams and goals that she had New York are starting to change. They're not spoken but you can still see it. And I think she's scared of that I think she went back to New York because though there's nothing there for her as she tells Uncle Richard it's still the wife she knows. And that's tough on it at all let alone a 15 year old who has to start from scratch with everything. And no human is free of flaws or mistakes. Keep in mind these are teenagers and not adults and they don't have the life experience yet. It is very scary and I think she's doing a phenomenal job at navigating it. Like anything there's positive or negative consequences to everything you do and the kiss they share is no exception. But it will test the relationship and it will test what true love really is for them. And I think as a whole the Walter family is a better fit for her then Uncle Richard who seems to have no life outside of work even though he does love his niece. I think he's pushing more for what he wants rather than what she wants. In terms of Alex he is still very immature in the way he says things and the way he has to be told to do something. I don't think he's even in love with Jackie I just think he's trying to get back at Cole because it was very evident even in the beginning episode that there was something between coal and Jackie and I think everyone knew it. Because even Danny and Katherine bring it up in a roundabout way numerous times. And even then Cole is reluctant to admit his feeling Jackie hasn't for the reasons mentioned above. And I think she dated Alex because as she mentioned several times he's not like Cole. Which the actual underlying meaning translate to Alex is the safe option.
