When Jackie mentioned how Hannah referred to God as Lord of Hosts because thats who she needed at that moment, I felt that. Today while praying, I was praying a prayer I feel through my natural eyes is impossible, but I reminded myself in prayer how BIG my God is by naming His attributes. It's a beautiful thing to know and remind ourselves of how GREAT our God is. It raises our Faith in prayer.

Thank God for this video. I follow a prophet and apostle who say that God would here me because I’m not praying with “fire.” I’m naturally a calm person and my prayers are usually more conversational and I’ve been feeling like he hasn’t been hearing me because I’m not loud. I’ve been made to believe that I’m not a good prayer because I’m not jumping up and down and calling on him to tear down evil altars and such. I’ve been feeling like I’m a weak prayer warrior. This video was a relief.

YES! Praying the Lord's words back to him is powerful! In September I sustained a pretty bad broken rib that kept me from doing any activity harder than lifting a plate. I decided to dedicate the extra time of not being able to exercise and do normal activity to the Lord so He could teach me whatever it was He wanted. I started memorizing scripture at lightning speed, really dedicating myself to it more than any other point in my life. I quickly saw good habits in my life that I had turned into idols. I also started paying more attention to scripture references in the margins of my Bible. I started praying back the passages I was learning to the Lord. He gently revealed just how deeply rooted my greatest vice was/is in my life, jealousy. God is so tender in His correction if we are willing to receive it. Now, my days are thrown off if I miss my time with the Lord. I cannot miss it. I must be with the Lord.

I was a child of divorced parents and practiced a lot of self discipline. I remember being the only one in my household getting up early to spend time in church on holidays and even my birthday. I was in the church choir and used to fellowship with a neighbor old enough to be my mother. My family dubbed me the baby preacher.😊But the Lord gives me strength and hope in times of trouble. 🙏🏽🌞

As I was writing my answer I was thinking that God is the father and Instead of me trying to pray like other people, let me just talk to him as if He is my dad. It was deep to me because my father passed away in August and I never had a relationship with him. I'm having a tough season and I believe I have to stop trying to pray and just do it. Also I need to just do it everyday and not casually. So thank you for this video ladies. It was very enlightening.

Prayer is an awesome privilege we have to commune with our God, our Father and He is our Husband and so much more. There are so many ways, a plethora ... for our Father is Spirit... and yes we can pray without ceasing. Also, setting and having an engagement is also wonderful. Hearing the views and seeing my sisters share how they engage God is beautiful. Remember, adoration is also a form of prayer...singing praise, spiritual songs with the children brings them in communion with our Father. You all are so cute... and prayer is a mind stayed on Him. Hallelujah! Blessings...our God is awesome. And, yes we also need to learn to pray. I do have dramatic friends and can get dramatic...... Kathryn Kuhlman very dramatic and God used her mightily. Then, there is spiritual warfare...when we enjoin the heavenly host in the fight. We are to fight the good fight of faith. There is so much our Lord is awesome....we know in part...

I’ve been praying and asking God to help me increase my prayer life so that I can then teach my son. Thank you Lord for this video

Hallelujah and Amen. This is so true. My Spiritual Mother and the Intercessors in my church thought me how to pray. And later on The Holy Spirit used others to teach me how pray Spiritual warfare. I am truly grateful for them and God Bless them 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Yes! I am doing my best to pray with discernment by using scriptures so I am studying a scripture a week and I recently started so I’m still at the infancy stage, but I love the idea of the alphabet prayer, how creative. Thank you all. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

My wife and I love you, Jackie. :) Your poetry is powerful and I've yet to hear anything that contrasts with the word on your videos, and thats saying a lot these days.

I loved the relational dialogue on prayer in this episode. There typically is a great vibe going on between the guests and a flow to their conversation, but this episode really highlighted those dynamics for me today since I saw this on the heels of a prayer to the Lord for more relational dialogue about Him! Thank you, ladies, for keeping it real and relational. God bless!

Thank you for the wholesome conversation. I've been thinking that the "formal" prayers are the only proper prayers, since that's the environment I've grown in. It has however been a blessing to know that we can just talk with God while driving, doing our daily chores etc. Allowing him to disrupt our daily routines. I've learned to be honest with God and just commune with him for he is our Father and Friend.

We truly serve an amazing Father ! I’m grateful to learn even more how to have a strong prayer life and understanding what God words says he is and what he always does
