That’s exactly what I was thinking!! I saw the SWFL eagles bring more fluff to their already fluffy nest the other day & are now incubating two eggies… which is getting me all anxiously excited for J&S nesting season but we need more fluff!! The bed is strong, sturdy & perfect… let’s get the pillows & comforter in place kids!! WE are ready for some babies!! 😘🥰🤭hehe

I’m no one who can really say…. But “ I’m guessing” that it will be J.&S.’s God given instincts, as to “ when” they begin adding to the nest “ the fluff”, as time approaches for the eggs to be laid. Again… I’m throwing out my own assumption. We shall see , right? I love these amazing bald eagles!!! I’m attached to just staying up on J.&S.. I love ALL bald eagles! But these two have captured my heart & attention! 😁❤️🙏. They know what their doing, & do it well “ together “! 😉. I’m sure the fluff will soon be their project to work on! I pray for them in the winter season & temps. But they are loved & protected even in the winter! 👍😊🙏

@@BirdlifeOdyssey I was just getting ready to ask about the timing of the eggs. This is only my second season with these two love birds so I wasn't sure. I am like a little two, I check on them first thing in the morning, before going to bed and all day long. I am so glad another season if finally here. I missed Fiona too and now we have Jeffrey the Pinecone added to the family. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

It is fantastic news and there will be a video about the beginning of their breeding season soon. Eagles in Florida start their breeding season earlier than those in California. J&S are such amazing builders… all sticks perfectly placed (after Jackie moves them there) ~ which makes me think… they really should consider a ROOF as their next nestoration project!! Might take the fun of wondering where J or S is at at times but betcha it’ll make the nest much warmer not filled with as much snow at times, too. Anyone know of a brave carrier pigeon we can send a note with to suggest it to them??

@53shuzzie Jackie is larger than Shadow. Jackie’s beak is both longer and thicker from top to bottom than Shadow’s.
