Jackie Shroff on Salman Khan's altercation with photographers

A section of photographers have decided to boycott Salman Khan's events because of the unfortunate incident that happened during the Yaar Na Miley song launch at a night club in Mumbai. This is what Jackie Shroff had to say on the matter.

Very well said. Salman is as human as anybody else is. He can get frustrated if he feels like it and he has never been afraid to show it off unlike some actors who are more skilled to brush it off. I think ppl should understand his personality (not everyone is same) and back it off sometime to give the person his/her space. I don't think just becoz person is famous or holds certain professional position, only they should hold professional standards. As a human, we all have had many circumstances where we even burst out to our loved ones. Yeh to sirf stranger journalists hain. I don't think media holds that much of a power to retain his popularity, atleast not to me. I am going to watch Kick and have full entertainment. As far as media is concern, they are acting like a whiny baby who can poke others but when it comes to them, they cry for mommy (viewers).

(a woman beater, drug abuser, killed innocent underprivileged & instinct animal, underworld sympathizer); still u adore him coz he's a star who can pretend well as a charming good guy on screen? if one is rich & famous then everything is justified, It's media who made him a star; & once u r a star u have people look up to u, so it's your choice whether be a role model or self-centered jackass, it's all about choice. After writing this I think my thesis has completed lol; u infected me lolzzz... Save your empathy for who actually need your help & support...

MrSimonOberoi When we list bad things about others, we should always consider that past does not reflect our present; mistakes do not define our identity and nobody is saint. The main point is to see the person who we have become today and be empathetic to everyone. Doesn't matter who they are. My empathy does not judge people based on fame, mistakes or status. It is just a feeling that comes out whenever I feel empathetic.

Maya Lama correct but how can u judge that he has changed? do u know him personally? no, whatever media tells u; u believe it, n that was my point that media make their image so they have the right to ask question, n it's easy way to defend anyone by saying no one is saint here, corrupt politician can say that others are more corrupt, rapist to criminal everyone blame the greedy world of no saints, easy way out, but still cant justify one's wrong doings, n nice to know that ur empathy judge everyone equally; however needy people needs more attention; but who cares, if he had killed your loved one n then ur point of view would have been opposite, but hey that's how the world is #NobodyIsSaint

They gave him the spotlight and made him popular among you people and also cleaned his tarnished image (domestic abuse, drug addiction, alcoholism, beating women, underworld connection, killing innocent underprivileged and hunting rare innocent animal). So they have right to ask questions and that'sthe price you have to pay being a celebrity because people look up to you, so you can be a role model or self-centered jackass; it's a choice.
