Was cheering you on while the stream was going on haha. Boost-by-gear will be huge also if you don't already have that going! I absolutely love it on my F80, but the F80 has a huge torque spike that hits on turn out. Smoothing that out made a big difference for my driving style. I wonder if they made an awd version of this car if it would help with traction in the slower corners. I guess you could always get a m3 drive and do similiar mods and see how it does but you would probably be adding 200 pounds or more....

*Supposedly* an M2 xDrive is coming. But like you said, 200 lbs more. I think we can improve traction if we mess with the car more, it’s not quite at a setup sweet spot yet.

Are there other gear ratios available for the m2 differential? Not the first time that you would benefit from a higher final drive ratio.

I still don't really understand why you chose to go from the Supra to the M2. At best it feels like the platform is a sidegrade. Wouldn't it have made more sense to go with something like a Corvette C8 instead since it's mid-engined, can be had with a widebody and most of the weight is over the driven wheels giving it better traction? Fundamentally I would think it's a much better platform to build a race or time attack car from unless for some reason you're married to BMW's B58/S58 powertrains.
@deyeatdapoopoo75828 ай бұрын
I'm just saying it feels like you were already struggling a lot with traction and oversteer with the Supra especially when the engine was turned up and because they're very similar platforms those are big struggles still. I think going to a front mid-engine or mid-engine platform would've been a better move to address those if you were going with a new build. Then again I'm not a race car driver and just looking from the outside in so I could be completely wrong.
