I like to imagine (since nonexisty is never taken somewhere) he just stays in the show he auditioned for and does the challenges, and despite never being mentioned, he is never eliminated, so he stays for the whole show (and probably tries to communicate, but never can since, y'know, he doesn't exist.) In which after the show, he follows the cast to another place, auditions for that one, and the loop continues on.

Honestly, I'm starting to think that at some point, the building's going to be in very poor condition. As in, you touch it, and it falls apart. Less if it gets repaired a lot. But 1st episode in, the fences on top fell off, the elevator door on the first floor is probably stuck wide open, some of the walls have holes now, and a window's already broken.
