My teacher told us a story about how the school had a drill but the teacher didnt know what drill it was. So my teacher figure it was a fire drill and walked her students out of the building, the other teachers followed her, too. They where all standing outside of the school and the principal had call them all back in. During the teachers meeting, the principal yelled at them for taking their outside during a tornado drill. He also said "You guys basically walked your students straight to death's door". Funniest drill story I've heard.

oh my god a similar thing happened to me in primary school! the tornado siren went off but we had a substitute who didnt know if it was the tornado or fire alarm. the whole class was telling her it was the tornado siren but of course she didnt listen to us because we were like 6 years old. she decided we were wrong, it was a fire, and made us all go outside, dark clouds coming in and all that jazz. it took about five minutes of us being the only class outside for her to realize that we were in fact correct about it being a tornado.
