I plan on starting a salvage faction and I made sure any hangars would be able to fit a rigbee, very helpful when you don’t want too many separate ships. Storing the attachments not being used is a bit of a hassle but this ship is a must for me.

Thank you so much for taking a look at my creation! I plan to fix the conveyor system soon as well. It was old build and I figured I would upload it; Didn't think to check the systems that much :< edit: Of course you had to review the one ship that was broken in my collection xD Was hoping you would do the Shard Mk.I since that is another racing ship :) edit: Fixed the conveyor problem and made the building rigs much easier to load with resources! :D Also a few other little changes to make the general use a bit easier :)

It is a spectacular idea and very well executed. Well done! ^_^ Is it nicknamed the Eleanor by any chance? =P

@@drahcirtmd3924 No but people often refer it to the raccoon character named Rigbee xD (another unintended reference)

You should try to update it soon, as long as it's still on the front page of the workshop lol

I have just fixed the conveyors to the main Rig-Bee as well as added in connectors to the builder rigs! Also gave the driller a little bit more cargo, which will now be able to make use of the connectors on the Rig-Bee :D Also the driller is meant to use the right click to get inside of asteroids, and then rotate while surface mining. Didn't think someone would try digging straight with it, but as long as it does the job, it's good xD

Have you considered a "back end" attachment that is basically just a big cargo container chain with extra maneuver thrusters and forward+backward facing connectors, to facilitate longer mining trips, larger welding or scrapping projects, etc. EDIT: I want to say I absolutely love it, and if I had any decent internet connection which which to play survival with friends, I would be using this in a heartbeat :3

I love it when SE ships come with sprues.

Ok now this is a cool ship. Could totally have turret modules that you can drop around your base and then move when you need to! I should imagine the power would be fine for ages too

iremember making a atmospheric modular ship like last year it had a bunch of features like parachutes n stuff my design focused on the core of the ship then made the modular parts very small the core had 2 large cargo and all the thrusters and the modules wouldnt have any extra stuff i like the way this one was made, its given me some more ideas now some of the modules i had were stuff like extra cargo, fighter (weapons), going to space oh also made a giant capital ship that you would just fly into hook up and then have instant control over it

Use the universal one for a small grid hydrogen mover. Thats my idea you could do. Put Two large hydrogen thrusters on the back and use it for a fast explorer vessel.

It saves on components. But for the space it takes up, might as well be multiple ships. For me, what makes a modular ship practical, is saving space by not needing a lot of of room for storage. That way it can be transported on a larger ship.

Now we need a planetary version of this

Not bad at all :-) I think that the attachment with the two merge blocks is so that you can butt them up end to end and have a longer vehicle. You can see that there are no thrusters to get in the way where the merge block is.

This reminds my what i had to do last weekend: My brother wanted to try out the new update, so he asked me to set up a starter base, so we don"t have to start from zero (and carry on from there) BUT ON THE MOON! OK I just upgrade the "easy base", spawn a versatile large-grid ship near 800 blocks , now we just need a large-block miner ship.... EH ... Shit! My atmo. miners can't even fly and my asteroid (ion) miner can't move loaded.... N.P. lest's see what the workshop has to offer that works, and has some style i'm sure there are quite a few to choose from right.... RIGHT? Guess not! So I loaded my junkyard map, merged 2 wrecks together, modified a bit, to get a (hydro+ion) drilling platform (that looked like an oil-rig with a head), but at least it works. So here's a building challenge: (large block) MOON MINER!

This is a slick design, and I _really_ want to like it, but it's badly in need of some constructive criticism 😞 The biggest problem is with the plumbing - the rear connector and bottom connector don't appear to be connected at all, but if they are, then it is with small conveyors, which means no parts can be fed to the welder or from the grinder. You could still make use of them with a bit of jiggery-pokery, but a good design shouldn't need that. Also, the default gray bits look out of place alongside the bold black-and-yellow of the rest of the ship, at least IMO; maybe the creator was trying to blend with those awful gray accents that every block inescapably comes with? Still, the overall design looks snazzy and has potential, and the packaging for the workshop is clever.
