This isn’t really about laughing about oneself though. It would be if it poked fun at Seans attributes, which it only really did in the beginning with the name edit and the video of Jack screaming (which was a video he uploaded himself), both of which were only light pokes. Rather, it didn’t so much make fun of Jack himself as it re-edited an interview to give an entirely different context and flow of conversation, removing the comedy from being about Jack as a person and instead being about a normal interview being repainted as incredibly awkward.

I think it's hilarious bc I know (*firmly believe) that Sean would never be that way. The moment I saw her cry, I imagined Sean walking into the audience to comfort her. And him saying that confirmed that thought. He, like many others, has always said he wouldn't be anywhere without his fans. He's glad he can make an impact, and he tries to make it positive. He built a career off of yelling and being genuine. I'm so happy for him and happy he exists.

One is emotionally investing and could warrant that reaction, the other is while concerning, also confusing.
