@@TrashPandaPlanet I’ve played it twice now and both playthroughs were over four hours, the second one was more like ten because I was looking for all the quests and secrets. I’m actually still playing that one (the save I made before the ending) trying to get all the types of fish. It’s one of those games that has such a great atmosphere and story that it sucks you in and makes you want to explore everything. Speedruns are interesting, but outside of speedrunning, it’s fun to take your time with a game. There’s a lot more content than first meets the eye.

One to get each of the cannon endings of the game, one to speed run, one for full completion which took me like 18 hours to get every achievement, and one to let my son play it, and kinda watch how his little kid fingers push buttons. The game is beautiful and well written and it’s genuinely fun. I only made the comment about how quickly it can be down, because it’s a game that if made into a series is over too quickly, the game should be a live stream that gets recorded so all of it can be enjoyed in one long setting. I also made that comment on the off chance Sean did see it, that way he can try and extended the time by fishing for a longer time or messing around.

There's something oddly soothing for my ADHD brain about seeing Jack upload an hour long or longplay video of a nice, cinematic, content filled game, that you can just lean back and watch. No skipping around boring parts. No putting it in the background to work on something else because it doesn't deserve your full attention. Not even putting timestamps for jokes. Just. Sitting there. For an hour. Watching the video. Entertained by the funny Irish man managing to make every moment interesting in the rare case the game fails to. And hour of your life spent in pure enjoyment.

Oh absolutely. I actually got the good ending my first time around without knowing it was an alternate ending. But Undertale traumatized me so I will never go back to get the original bad ending to keep the peace

The ending I got first was absolutely amazing and same with the second one the visuals and the story and every detail made it so worth working through.

really loving this series and the cozy, creepy vibes! although i do wish jack would slow down and talk to people more to discover the history of each location. i want to know about them!! and jacks barrelling through!! maybe he thinks it would be boring to just read all the time, but the exposition is so well written i hope he narrates more.

Thank you for playing this. I knew after the first few minutes of the first video I wanted this game. I haven't been that excited and hard pressed about buying a game in years. I bought it on Thursday and I think I'm almost done with the main quest. I absolutely love this game so much! Each of the areas has different mechanics you have to learn to deal with the eldritch horrors, from my experience at least one of the side quests leads to dire consequences (and I regret taking it), and a plot twist I didn't expect! I hope you make more videos on this game! Oh and if you see another boat in the distance moving and/or blaring its fog horn... It's not a boat.
