I have just decided that I would like to coin the name “The MRVN [Marvin] Effect,” after the units from Titanfall 2. Give a robot a human or animal form, give it a simple way of expressing emotion alongside simplified but fluid body language, and your robots feel more human than most characters. You could also possibly use Wall-E as an example, or even as the original case (and maybe it should be named as such)

Oh man. Those devs thought of everything. The bead curtain is not static like it would've been in some games but actually moves around when you walk trough it. And when you run through the paint, you leave little white pawprints behind. They didn't have to do that. But they did it anyway. Small things like those make me happy.

Im pretty sure the reason that the Zurks haven't eaten everything around them is because it was mentioned before that after the bacteria (now zurks) had mutated, they became fixated on eating/attacking everything that ''lives'' or moves. Since the robots now have 'souls', like written on the wall, it would make sense that the Zurks would go after the metal robots too, but not after something like a metal fence, since it doens't move or live. Their original purpose of eating/disposing of the excessive amount of trash in the slums became irrelevant I guess, after mutating over all those years.

Wow, this game has a lot of details. Remember how there was one poster about the Earth in Momo's room, which told us about how the Moon reduces the rotational speed of the Earth over time? Yeah, that same concept was seen in those 4 clocks we saw around 29:41. All the clocks were 16 hours long (1 round around the clock = 16 hours)! That means a single day is 32 hours!!

So most audible meows cats make towards us are specifically for us humans. Cats try and communicate with us but they don't need to make much noise with each other. The reason this pretty kitty makes noises that are different from your cat is probably because they've never encountered humans (aka creatures that use verbal communication) So when you respond to your kitty's little meows that kinda encourages them, even tho it makes no sense to them lol. I like to mimic the noises that most cats actually use with one another to confuse them (or comfort them). I've found that purring back at cats seems to make them more relaxed. Similarly with dogs, I've found that getting closer to the ground while playing with them and standing up fully to signal that playtime is over seems to work decently well (besides with the absolutely massive dogs, lol). I also give "play growls" while playing with dogs, or give sharp whines like another dog would if they get too rough when playing (I'm kinda short so it's easy for a big dog to potentially cause me actual harm while playing, but I don't wanna absolutely discourage playing entirely by scolding the dog). As long as they've been properly socialized, they tend to respond well to their "own language"

Look, I'm enjoying this game right now because it feels different to play as cat, but in all honesty, this game is not as great as you put it to be. The cat seems the selling point but then what?? You could easily replace it with a flying robot or anything and it will still be the same exact game. I was expecting some groundbreaking gameplay or letting us live and hunt as cat, but as far as this episode (hopefully this changes in next ep?) we don't have any of that. Let's all be fair here, (I don't believe game awards are entirely fair anyway) if this game got awarded as the game of year or best gameplay and what not, then this year has to have the most average games ever, which I doubt is the case.

This game seems a lot more cute and relaxing than that stupid winged super soldier and her flower ever will, and it isn't even fair putting elden ring and this game into the same CATegory. This is an indie game made by a smaller game studio. Elden ring is one of, if not the biggest project a Bandai Namco has taken on and actually delivered on. So in short, Elden ring can win GOTY, but Stray can win indie game of the year (in my heart I know it probably will not win.)

Im so in love with this game, the concept is really cool but the wordlbuilding is AWESOME. I absolutely love the graphics and the style, I love that kind of retro cyberpunk vibe, that old retro sci fi technology, all that rust and trash and metal in a post apocalyptic world. This game is honesly so great, the environments are awesome, I've been loving all the cities so far. Huge props to the developers. Looking at how they did the buildings, the vehicles, the robots, the objects, it really inspires me to keep practicing and become better at 3d modeling, it really makes me wanna put more effort and hopefully be able to create as good 3d environments and objects as them!

I love the idea that the companions have such fond memories of humans that they fashion their lives after humans in the image of them. It's refreshing after so many 'humans bad to bots' tropes we see out there. The fact that they accept the cat because humans would, they do art because humans did, they wear clothes and experience sensations because they're mimicking the Soft Ones, I love it.
