I get what Jack is saying about injuries... but I he doesn't seem to know that the injury happened to his plant leg, not the leg he was kicking with. But speaking to Jack's point, for all we know it got damaged in a scramble, or maybe a leg kick earlier in the round tweaked something, and when he torqued and followed through his knee blew out. And even in cases like with Dillishaw, where the injury was pre-existing... he still popped his shoulder out by throwing punches and grappling with Aljo. And at the end of the day, being unable to continue for any reason (outside of an illegal strike) is a TKO. Having said that... there's no reason to go running around the cage like you just won an Olympic medal while getting a Tyson Fury fight contract.

Must say I'm impressed that Gamrot stopped the panic striking so fast, especially against Fiziev, but the way he drops for the takedown in striking exchanges sometimes makes it look like he is getting dropped. Was also impressed that Fiziev´s wrestling defense held up at the highest level, at least to some degree. I favored Gamrot slightly before the fight, but now I do the opposite.

Being Good during your own as well as an opponents stance switch is similar in value to me, to the ability to scramble through positions and passes in grappling. To me much of the value lies within the ability to dictate the transitions themselves. If you can counter WHILE an opponent switches, Or Scramble out of a well timed shot, it leaves you with significant advantages in those moments, and creates new threats for the opponent to reconsider while they’re temporarily “In the Void” Mentally.

The only thing I will say Jack: I’m not sure if it was Waterson just doing PR for the UFC and trying to shift away any blame/ill-will, but she did claim that she was having a ton of trouble consistently making the 105 limit, which she (somewhat politely) blamed as the reason for her poor performance against Tiburcio. She might honestly be one of those rare people who is just slightly too big to effectively compete in her former natural division, and too small to contend in the one above

it looked like fiziev may have first injured his knee while defending a takedown and was hopping on one leg while being pushed back and then it fully gave out when he planted and threw that kick. which makes the "injury tko" crowd even dumber if the injury occured becuase of a gamrot attack minutes earlier
