I hazily recall reading an article several years ago about when Michael sang the lyrics, "Just look over your shoulders, honey, ooo!" his brothers (probably led by Jermaine, as he was always teasing while Tito stood by with the tissue) pointed out that it's physically impossible to look over both shoulders at the same time, and suggested that he change it to the singular. To make a long story short - too late, I know - the producer said, "If Michael wants to sing 'shoulders,' let him sing 'shoulders,'" and the rest is history.
