The ratings sites hate it that this kid is going to OU. He should be the #1 rated QB across the board. He had the best year at the highest level of Texas HS football, which is the highest level of football in the country.

I'm an Oklahoma and I agree that he played against some of the toughest competition in the country. I agree that you can make an argument for him being the number one quarterback. But I don't think the recruiting sites hate Oklahoma. They bumped him up to a 5star rating while he was committed to Oklahoma. When we start winning national titles again ....then we will be hated again.... And I can't wait until we're hated again lol

He’s really good at his timing I feel like. He knows when to get the ball out of his hands and when to throw it. He’s quite jittery under pressure but I watched him against byu and it looks like he’s improved on that a bit. Just needs to work on deep ball accuracy and learning his receivers but besides that he has a pretty deep-ball and once he fixes those he’ll be a stud and a potential 1st round pick

Impossible to judge QB in these competitions, except running ability, I think. Fun to watch anyway though

Not true entirely, a good performance honestly shows good football iq and chemistry when playing with not only new people, but also kids on the same level as you. With all that being said the depth and all star game style doesn’t give the kids that much of a chance to show anything.

Not really... You can tell he doesn't have great pocket presence/footwork but is a pretty good athlete. And that he has good arm talent but his accuracy isn't there.

I’m sensing he’s basically a inaccurate Baker Mayfield lol. If he’s able to get those high throws and over throwing receivers under control then he should be ok 👍🏿

He'll get better I'm sure. This was like a stepping stone above the level he is used to playing at, and he has no chemistry with these players really.. Then college is going to be a stepping stone above that. I'm sure he'll at very least be decent by sophomore year. Might even pull a Caleb Williams.
