Yeah the ones I got are like a hybrid set, they're 9 to 50 and they work great for many different tunings that's why I got them. I put them on my Schecter C1 Platinum with emgs that I swapped around, the 85 is now in the bridge and the 81 is in the neck and it's a lot more balanced volume wise and it actually sounds better to me anyhow

@@joshycjohns I'll put it to you like this, for the longest time I was very against active pickups and then I ended up buying that guitar because I just loved how it played and it didn't sound bad and contrary to popular belief active pickups are not one trick ponies, they can do most things really well but they're not exactly the right thing for like low overdrive Blues kind of stuff but I would certainly recommend them

Next you need pickups. I suggest a Seymour Duncan JB + jazz set. They also come in gold

@@joshycjohns nut replacement was super easy. Just gotta make sure you get the correct one. You just knock it off with something like a hammer. Make sure you cover the neck with a towel or something so you don’t scratch it. Give the new one some test fits then attach it using super glue. I waited 10 minutes before putting the strings back on. The string tension actually helps keep down some more.

I just got the same thing used but in metallic blue. It's now being painted neon yellow. Idk why I thought it would look cool. Also put an emg 81 in it and it's my favorite sounding guitar even tho I have 2 other more expensive jacksons lol. There only the js32 and js34 models.

@@yeahea9344 I had the same problem. If you wanna use the posts that come with the new system then you’re gonna have to do some drilling haha. I didn’t, however, so I kept the same posts as my original bridge. If that doesn’t work, I would just drill the holes slightly bigger so that the new posts fit in.

Well, the js22 has a standard tremolo whereas the js32 has the Floyd rose, so I couldn’t really say how the Floyd rose performs since I don’t have one. But you can still do some dive bombs on it, I would however recommend upgrading the bridge. I linked all the parts in pinned comment. The original was a bit stiff, but I couldn’t recommend his guitar any more. It’s the best budget guitar you could ever huy

Hey man that’s awesome! Thanks for checking out the video. I used Musiclily products. The two point fulcrum bridges that are on the js series are fairly rare for cheap but music lily gets the job done. I’d also invest in some tuners because the ones on the js22 SUCK. Also got those from Musiclily on Amazon.

Hey man, did you do any adjustment when installing guitar bridge or just plug and play?

It’s not pin for pin. I never had to make any adjustments but it’s not an exact part. I had to keep in the old mounting pegs for the bridge. The new ones were too big. And the bridge sets a little close to one side than the other. But other than that, it’s basically plug and play and it doesn’t affect the tone or playability at all.

@@IMKINDOFABIGDEAL13 it’s actually horrible. I think maybe if the springs were oiled it would be better, but they were so clunky that it would get stuck in the down position and completely get out of tune . Even the tuners were pretty horrible

@@joshycjohns that’s sort of what I expected. Maybe with locking tuners and a well filed graphite nut. I generally don’t use the whammy bar anyways and block them off because i sorta play like old death metal stuff or James hetfield style stuff so it’s not really my style anyways

Extremely easy man. Make sure you buy that same one I have pinned in the comments, cause I couldn’t really find any others that fit, at least on Amazon. When you replace it, however, I would keep the original posts in. They will work fine with the new bridge. If you wanna install the new posts, theyre a bit bigger so you’ll have to drill; id just avoid it all by keeping the old ones in haha. Let me know if you have any other questions

It’s def worth it if you modify it a bit. I’ve since put some EMGs in, and this guitar plays amazingly. But the stock tuners, bridge and pickups aren’t great, whereas the body and the neck are phenomenal. I think 12-69 would be fine.

Hey I'm looking for bridge upgrade on my dinky and the only reason why is because the stupid suction bar pop-in thing for the whamy bar does not hold the bar in anymore does this replacement bridge do the same thing or will it hold up

I know exactly what you’re talking about. The original bridge would make a squeaking sound and just loosely spin around. This one fixed it for me. It actually has a small screw in it that you can tighten if it starts to get loose again so it should always be tight. See my pinned comment for a link to the part.

Different knobs have different methods but generally you just pull them off. There’s a lot of tension so you have to pull pretty hard. Some knobs have small holes for Allen keys and some have caps that twist off. But these just pull off

I would go ahead and say yes to all of the parts. Js11’s have two point fulcrum bridge as well, so this bridge should work. The tuners should be an issue, as I’m sure these are the same tuners. If not, it’s not difficult at all to set a new new tuner holes in, even by hand.

@@logansass4416 the new tuners came with new screws. It would be almost impossible to use the stock screws because they’re so cheap they instantly strip. But the new ones were perfect size. I linked all the parts I used in the pinned comment if youre interested

@@7_dropademon yes sir. Even if not, the screws are so small and the neck is pretty pliable that I screwed them in by hand on my Epiphone. But yes, those are drop ins.
