i think it has something to do with the nerves in there back, when pressure is applied it kinda puts their whole nervous system to sleep

Maybe because it's way too tight around his torso? Also... cat leashes do not work. If you want to go on a walk with a pet, get a dog. And yes, I've had multiple cats and dogs as pets in my life, before someone gets angry, that I 'promote dogs' or 'hate cats'.

some people r allergic to doges, some people live in areas with way too much traffic for unsupervised expeditions, some cats get into too many fights and would be unsafe. cat leashes DO "work", but they're not a catch-all solution for everyone. also, this poor cat. someone untighten that harness/get a bigger one

@@hdbordercollie If all that applies, do not get a cat. I think it's pretty selfish to deprive a cat of its freedom. But that's just my opinion. Other opinions are allowed 😀

I don't know I've seen people walking their cat on a leash before.

Totally agree, cats don't like leashes at all.

If you let a cat outside and it's not a yard catio that restrains their roaming area, then it should be leashed. Unleashed cats kill many birds and other wildlife as they are instinctive hunters. Cats can get startled and run into traffic in urban areas and can be prey to coyotes in suburban areas. A leash provides both controlled range and protection. I've seen many cat's walking quite content on a leash.
