Jackson Hole top to bottom skiing the easy way - blue trails

Jackson Hole top to bottom. Started on the top of Rendezvous Mountain 10,450 ft, took single black Rendezvous Bowl (the hardest part of this trail), then blue Rendezvous Trail, connected to South Pass Traverse and after that Gross Ventre all the way to the bottom. The hardest part was Rendezvous Bowl (moguls). I would highly suggest taking Sublette Quad Chair and stay to the right to get started if you are doubting your abilities. It will be the same run minus the moguls (black diamond). It takes about 13 minutes to get to the bottom for an average skier or snowboarder. It took me 5min to get through the black diamond part.

I’m working on my anxious feelings around skiing Jackson hole, and I sincerely appreciate having this video to make it feel more manageable to an intermediate skier. There are an abundance of videos to inspire experts, but thank you for this one to inspire me.

Ya gotta ski Rendezvous bowl on the fall line. Traversing never gets you a "rhythm" needed to do it so it's FUN. I lived in Jackson (Teton Village) for 2 ski seasons in the 70's. Going back this year (50 yrs later !!) and gonna slay it one last time !!

Thanks for posting. Brings back memories of my Mar 2018 trip. I did Rendezvous bowl slowly as well, was bumpy and a real leg burner. But the rest of the way is just an awesome ride down. Again thanks for sharing!

I've been skiing since I was 9 years old in California and nothing prepared me for what Jackson hole had to offer. It is definitely a lot steeper and they're blue's are like black diamonds in California. Great ski resort. World-renown. But definitely not for those who are not of the faint of heart lol.

It's not the steepest black at JH but there's something about it being so wipe open that makes it terrifying to go down!

A slope isn't steep, it's fast. It only looks steep if you slow down. Next time try traversing back and fourth on the face while controlling your speed to your comfort level. Take long traverses so your not wasting the elevation. ;-)
