That truss rod wheel comment was funny, because Fender owns Jackson.

Yeah, Fender (the company) likes to keep Fender (the guitar) relatively traditional in design and do all of the experimenting through their other brands (like Jackson and Charvel). So they're generally reluctant to include new features unless it's on a new model or offers much better performance.

Dadikiuz Suhr, Tom Anderson, LSL, Xotic, etc have been making essentially this exact guitar for years. Vintage vibe with modern appointments and playability (PLEK’d stainless frets, noiseless high output pups, roasted woods, flatter radius, locking tuners, better trusrod adjustment, etc). They’re not cheap, but will almost indefinitely be cheaper than a US Jackson release given their pricing history. I wouldn’t hold your breath for a pro version that’s actually reliced with decent pickups in it.

I bought a 6 string white version last year, out of curiosity. And I wasn't expecting that ! It's the most comfortable guitar I've ever played, and I've played billion of very different guitars from many brands ... This little Jackson beats guitars twice its price, no joke, I just stopped playing all the other guitars I owned ...

I have a 7 string pro serie and I have to say that it's by far the worst guitar ivre ever had, it's barely unplayable, every season change stuck the frets out and the neck get all crooked. I've put bareknuckles jauggeurnaut (really good btw) in it and now I'm stuck with an unplayable guitar with good pickup without garanti 😂. Too bad cause I'm a huge misha fan!

I got the same and mine is almost perfect build quality wise. I think the biggest problem for this guitar is the range of quality out of the production, but thats why I would consider trying it out before buying it.

Honestly if a roasted neck moves that much its probably not roasted correctly or you treat it Roasted necks don't move much. Thats the whole point of roasting them. And its pretty stupid you kept that guitar and uograded it. At least contact support.

Clickbaity... Man apparently every guitar is “Literally the best bang for the buck on the market.” I have to say though even imports can be setup to play extremely well and they will ensure the BEST guitar they made makes it to the artist so they believe what they are selling. These were probably those jems that were ensured to be perfect or hell, even made at the custom shops as prototypes and then the imports are recreated based on this.

Satriani,Guthrie Govan,EVH,Tosin Abasi and John Petrucci have used or are still using basswood guitars. Nothing wrong with it,tonewise. It is though cheap as shit, because the linden tree, which it is made of,is growing everywhere in the northern Hemisphere. It´s not rare like Korina/Limba,Mahagony or Koa and it definetely doesn´t justify the price of a guitar to be high. And yes,it´s soft as shit and will dent after the slightest bump.
