Jackson State is not in the SHC because the promoter is greedy…JSU should be getting at least $750,00 for this game…It would be advantageous for you all to do a little research before speaking on the games. This will enable you all to have a better conversation about the topic. JSU BY FAWTY

Grambling beat Jackson State in a non-conference game where JSU was experimenting and feeling out the team. I love Vegas, but outside of a few places, I hate HBCU games in NFL staidiums. As far as JSU and the SHC, we could have found a way to play this game and still be in Vegas. The SHC was the best HBCU game that did not involved in-state rivals outside of the BoomBox Classic. The sides meed to come together and make it happen.The 350K that was announced might have been a mix up with the JSU vs USM game. I'm hearing 750K minimum. If Las Vegas really is pay all the expenses, that's not something most cities can do. Can Memphis afford to help Summit Management pay more money? There has been a lot of controversy over whether or not the city has helped the SHC enough. Does the city leadership in the city and county really support this event put on my a black person involving two black schools they they do oter things that come through the city? This game was always a top 5 Classic for attendannce and generally top 10 attendance for HBCU games overall. Find a way to make it happen. The city and country need to reach out to Summit, bring the two schools together, and find out how to make the money right. The people who are saying 1M per team are being somewhat unreasonable., but if people in MEmphis want the game to happen, reach out to Summit and express your desire to get these two schools back even if it takes more money. IF the city and county want the game to happen, bring the sides together to find a few more sponors to throw in an additional 350K to reach school. We agreed to continue with the game we're playing in Mobile. Why? Because making upward of 500K+ net profit isn't as easy at regular games when the attendance doesn't match Homecoming, Southern, or Alcorn. There is a number that works. The schools just don't want to be in the red when they leave Memphis, so all sides need to get together and make it happen even if the cities, schools, and the promoter all have to reach out to find sponsors.

@AlfredoRundell other games have nothing to do with 2024. What about the two previous games Gram lost to JSU before 2024? None of that has anything to do with right now because there were plenty of Grambling people that were on social media talking about how they should have won that Spring game
