Hello is a rental car necessary for a week in Jackson Wyoming? I was hoping I could use ubers and maybe a few buses to the national Park since I don't drive. Thank you in advance for any information. Great video!

@@Mongoose-ct6us if you don’t have a car you will have to look for some sort of guided tour of the national park- they do have them. Google ‘jackson hole tours’

@@Mongoose-ct6us the town itself is very walkable if you stay reasonably close to the historic square

I’m from New Zealand but my daughter lives in Jackson. I’ve visited many times and skied your fantastic fields. Proud as I am of my country, I believe that Jackson is one of this world’s greatest places. The people are so hospitable and the surrounding countryside is fantastic.

Just watched your video. We have visited Jackson. You are correct, it is very expensive. We camped there, very expensive to camp. We enjoyed the area, though. We were glad we went, but plan on spending lots of money.

Another beautiful town in Wyoming! I love that is still has a rustic western feel to it though I guess that goes for most places in this part of the US. Doesn't surprise me that things are on the pricier side! Out of curiosity how much budget do you think someone would need for a week long yellowstone park visit?
@SwiftyTravels3 ай бұрын
@@TheJournalofanExplorer maybe $3-4k not including airfare? That’s assuming you stay in hotels. You can expect $300/night to sleep and you will need to rent a car- it covers a lot of space. If i get a chance I will try to put together a video about how i planned the whole trip with costs etc. I have so many video ideas and not enough time!!

I really appreciate this video. I live in Sedona. I was lucky to have moved here in '91,before it got commercialized/ruined. I always wanted to go to Jackson Hole, but it's a long drive. Now I see I can strike it off my bucket list. It looks just like Sedona. Commercialism is so boring. Real authentic rubber tomahawks, and $300/night accommodation s. Blech.
@SwiftyTravels2 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching! Sedona is on my list as well- too bad everything is so darn expensive now. We visited back in the 90s when I lived in Phoenix but we didn’t stay overnight.
@WannaKnowDetails2 ай бұрын
@@SwiftyTravels@SwiftyTravels It's not only expensive, but the traffic is horrendous, with two arteries, 89A and 179, converging at a complete standstill. If I was born yesterday, it might be "nice". But it's not. And the vacation rental industry has destroyed the town. Unless one was born yesterday, then they don't know. They think it's normal. We moved to Cottonwood in 2003 and now try to avoid Sedona. Ain't goin' to Jackson Hole, either. Thank you for doing the leg work for me!
