It’s funny that we originally thought losing Evans and Godwin would drastically change things. However, the Bucs offense is still generating over 20 points per game. Turns out it’s the DEFENSE that has been the problem for us not winning

@@Mel-Sqr Actually, better get rid of Jason LIcht. This defense is his doing. The front 4 cannot generate enough pressure, so Todd Bowles is forced to blitz to generate pressure. Joe Tryon-Shoyinka at this point is a bust. Zyon McCollum gets beat too often. Calijah Kancey is very good at stopping the run, but not so great at rushing the passer - he was the replacement for Shelton Quarles after 2023 who could generate pressure. Kancey for the first time ever against the Chiefs had two sacks. Not great for first round draft pick. When the Bucs cut Carlton Davis they gave instead Jamel Dean a $18 million 4 year contract. Unfortunately, he has been hurt every year he has played (including now). The lack of defense is Jason's fault.

It really feels alot like this team right now is basically Baker using sheer willpower just to keep this team competitive. The defense looks like swiss cheese each week, the receiving core reads like a who's who of the latest waiver wire, and Todd Bowles is just doing what he does leading his masterclass in laying down in clutch time.

I don't mind running the ball at the goal line it just should have been Bucky or Tucker because they're more elusive running backs. If theyre going to have White in there, they should have did play action or thrown a screen to him or something

Baker didn't have enough time for play action and the niners linebacker were crashing the line most of the time ,screens wouldn't work.

The Bucs were playing 18-on-11 and the 49ers missed three field goals, and TB still found a way to lose.

Im a niners fan but this was a pathetic showing from both of our defenses. Ive been saying ALL YEAR that all teams have to do is run north and south at us and thats exactly what the Bucs did against us. We got our udfa Evan Anderson out there playing nose and he got curb stomped. Then Wirfs goes down and we cant get a god damn sack. On the other hand Tampas d line looked pretty good but the play calling was trash. I see everyone saying fire todd bowles for a reason. Idk if Steve Spagnolo wants a head coaching job but what hes done with the Chiefs defense oh boy Tampa yall gotta reach out to that man

This game showed that Baker is playing his fucking ass off and the entire team right now is Baker dragging the entire Bucs team as far as he can. Let's remember, the Bucs just pushed all their chips in against the Chiefs Monday in OT and lost. Short week, extra snaps because of OT, heartbreaking loss. And the niners just came off a bye. it's a massive rest advantage for the niners. Oh yeah, and Baker hasn't had Mike Evans AND Chris Godwin for a hot minute, and Godwin in particular will not be coming back this year. And the niners STILL almost fucked it up.

At this time last year, the Bucs were coming off a loss to the 49ers (also week 10) and found themselves at 4-6, just like now. They managed to finish w/a 9-8 record in large part cuz Baker got in the zone. I expect Mike Evans reappearing to make a huge difference.

If I was Bowles in this current situation I would try to bring in Dennis Allen right now to help me figure out how to get better at defense. I would ask his opinion on my defensive staff and where I need to make changes at, I would also ask for any quick fixes to try and save the season and if we're successful I would offer him the job and let him make staff changes. The saints were always good on defense under him but all coordinators aren't meant to be head coaches, take Bowles for example

I realize it's the 49ers, but just 4 of 11 for 28 yards to wide receivers is truly awful. Sure, Baker had to rush his throws here and there, but all 4 WRs are depth guys. Getting Evans back is huge even if he's at 85%.

I predict we go 5-2 (losing to Chargers & Saints). Lose the division but get the last wildcard spot (#7). Then we win 4 in a row!! 🏆😂😂 No, we'll be lucky to make the playoffs this year, though not impossible.

Tampa Bay is rotten from the top down. Todd Bowles is not a good Head Coach or a Defensive Coordinator. He's had this team for 3 years and this is what he's produced. Fire Todd Bowles.

We HAVE TO move on from the _Todd Bowles era_ and quick. I know they won't till the end of the season, which sucks bc a real HC & DC would probably have us at 7-3 or 6-4. Todd's poor time management, failure to make effective adjustments during the game, and his sorry soft-zone coverage scheme SUCKS!! He needs to go, I literally can't stand him. His face pisses me off!! 🤬😂🤷🏿‍♂️
