What were the injuries? I broke my neck not wearing my seatbelt but my accident was a lot worse than this one. Hopefully it isn't that severe in this case

Unfortunately no...once we drop them off at the hospital, the hospital is bound to HIPAA laws just as we are...so unless the patient comes to us, generally we do not even know.

Absolutely. Engines carry fire fighting equipment. Trucks carry rescue equipment.

Well...it originally came in as an extrication...but we send whoever is closest and can get there fastest for the sake of those injured. No sense leaving perfectly qualified people at home because they are in a truck...that is very narrow thinking.
