Show #49 of "History Jacksonville!" Film & Broadcast Date October 15, 2016
**HJPP-The History Jacksonville Preservation Project**
This is one of my most viewed shows ever. It also was one of the most difficult to coordinate as I have a sprawling library of digital images of the 1970s. It was an epic feat to accomplish as I was able to focus on the unique time after the city and county consolidated-learning about the
Jacksonville of the 70s that I was born into.
Please note 2 Corrections: The Downtown Sears department store building was demolished 2 years after it closed in 1981 and. President Richard Nixon was charged with articles of impeachment in the House Judiciary Committee. He resigned but was not impeached.
