lol reminds of one episode of G I Joe when Cobra sent fake orders to GI Joe and they put three inadequate people in charge. When Gen. Hawk finally came thru he said of two of the “leaders” that one had ability but not desire and vice versa. And as for the third one it was ol’ Shipwreck to which Hawk said he had neither the desire or ability.🤦🏾 Burn.

Props to you for recognizing that it wasn't making you happy/wasn't what you truly wanted and for subsequently acting on that realization and making a positive change in your life. @@UnafraidShowI was in the 4 row of the game that Paul Spicer broke his ankle/foot. It was pointing sideways. It's bad enough to see it on TV, but seeing it live in the stands is brutal. I could barely watch the poor guy (Paul) thriving in pain like that. Disgusting 😢

@@justincredible27I tore my patellar tendon in 7th grade and had it rolled up into my thigh and my muscles were so small you could see everything. Somebody said it’s just a dislocated kneecap which kept everyone from throwing up but once you saw what actually happened it made you sick to think about. And that was just from a friend messing around at soccer practice kicking his ball at mine while I was trying a knuckleball. 4 more surgeries on the same knee since then so I don’t trust players that have injuries like that bc there’s a lot in their heads keeping them from 100%

I believe it, my uncle told me of his time playing college football and the NFL from the 70s-80s. He played DE for the Bills, he would tell me stories of being so beat up that his hands were too swollen to put quarters in the phone to call home, a teammate (OT) getting jealous that he beat him in a drill in practice, and jumping on his ankle to break it after he was going to start, he said "Nephew, I used to hate to see the morning, it meant it was just another butt whooping in practice". He played college at a small school in Knoxville, but made the NFL on hard work alone.

My Grandfather okayed for the Detroit Tigers before WW2 and after he came back from Japan he never played more than in the backyard teaching his Grandchildren how to pitch but I asked him why did he go and be a surveyor for the University of Kentucky, build a house a start a family rather than go back to playing baseball? He said “it was too hard” and that’s something I’ll never forget. To him the constant grind of staying at the highest level and wondering if you’re still are or are currently good enough to compete at that high level or to go through the grueling schedule is a sumbich. Especially with football. Those NFL dudes are monsters and can hit like a car going 39mph😂

Just cause its your dream job, doesnt mean its EVERYONE'S dream job. Just cause you're a fan, doesn't mean you know all the ins and outs of being on a professional team.
