As a Saints fan I was miserable those first 3 quarters. Carr was playing bad and the whole offense just looked completely broken. Then the fourth quarter happened and they all rebounded and nearly got us the win against a great team like the Jags. Hopefully we’ll be able to keep this up in our next few winnable matchups, but I’m just glad we were able to put up a fight in such a good game. Congrats to Jacksonville too. I hope they go far this year cuz they deserve it.

Yes and props to Saints player Adebo (#29) for the incredible block as three Saints were converging on Kirk to spring Kirk for the touchdown. Go to 12:37 in the video and watch the replay. Adebo makes the block of the year, simultaneously destroying two Saints and taking himself out of the play as well. (Kirk should send him a signed Jersey and name him an honorary Jaguar.)

When Agnew got hit by his own team mate, Campbell, on the punt return, can we all just appreciate how fast those 2 Saints coaching/medical staff ran on to the field to check on him? I know its a common thing for medical staffs to check on downed/injured players for the opposing team until their medical staff gets to their injured player but its always a nice/humane thing for them to do that. Hats off to those 2 Saints coaching/medical staff members who checked on Agnew when he got hit.

Jacksonville *could* be elite, but they **HAVE** to start putting teams away. They’re giving up way too many points to sub-par offenses, despite having a pretty good defense. And the offense isn’t keeping their foot on the gas. If they could get a little better on both lines, and lock games down, they could be talked about as AFC champion contenders in earnest.
