Funny story: I made the snareline going into my freshmen year of college at JSU (2011). I was two outside of the center as well. I got a call from my mom who told me she got a financial aid letter from JSU telling me I was denied aid. I went to Clint's office to let him know that unfortunately, I'd have to back out auditions because I wouldn't be able to attend JSU for financial reasons. He told me, "What if we covered your tuition?"... essentially I could go to school there for free. My DUMB ASS thought that tuition was only 1-2 thousand dollars and that it still wouldn't be enough. So I still turned down the offer. Nonetheless, life still worked out for me lol. But yeah.... do your research kids, and don't be a brainless drummer like I was. I would've gotten the opportunity to march with these guys.
